Pollard could be our next Ron Springs, or spring a leak. Game changer, Nah.
If he's protecting your "franchise QB"....then maybe it's a bit more "nice and everything" than what you say .This is nice and everything.
The problem is Zeke needs to make big plays to validate what he is paid.
You can find good RB's for much less to do what Zeke has done.
WE need 2016 type of play from that guy. 30 yard runs and homerun hits to the house.
It's a big play league. We need him to add that back.
I worry about Pollard regressing because RB's that come here usually run to space their 1st year then as the years go on they bulk up and seek contact in the secondary.
I'm with you! This is all I know.. Forget Pollard for a second. Lamb in my opinion is one of the better WR to come out of the draft in a long time and we somehow managed to get him!!! So, having said that, this truly opens up the Cowboys offense and forces Linebackers be very weary of staying disciplined in coverage or they'll be toast. If opposing defenses are having to stay overly disciplined in regards to our passing attack, our run game and swing passes will be absolutely lethal.
Adding lamb to what we already have is a complete total embarrassment of riches and if I know one thing it's that Big Mike knows how to take advantage of this mismatch. I think some of you are really underestimating what a better coach can bring here. for those of you whom doubted garrett's meddling ways before will be shown the light when Big Mike takes the lid off of this offense.

I have to agree. If by game changer you mean change of pace back; then yes.
but let’s not kid ourselves; the game changer running the ball is zeke.
MM may be a different cookie but this is Jerry's team. Until that changes......I don't see Zeke losing some of his reps to Pollard.
Well I agree with that personally but this ownership feels the need to justify the contracts they hand out so I expect Zeke to be ran into the ground and tired by the playoffs lol....I do hope to see Pollard get more reps and touches in the passing game too.
Yep. I don’t want Elliot on my team. Glad we cleared that up. He’s not worth the money. He has improved Or proved it in three seasonsSo you wouldn't take one of the top running backs in the league that can do basically everything well over someone who has shown some flashes of greatness?
Pollard is going to be good but hasn't shown anything remotely close to zeke level. Time will tell when he gets the ball more.
far too late to keep crying its all happened already and no amount of saying i dont want him here changes the fact hes been here and will be here at least through 29021 before the deal is breakable with less capo hit..get the flip over it already,. tiresome this narrative continues AFTER a full season on the new deal..hes a very productive Dallas Cowboy star and if you are fan you might not lie the person but n routing against a player is not a fan..Yep. Crying. I don’t think so. I’ve never been a fan of Elliot. That doesn’t mean I don’t support him when he’s on the field. You must be talking about someone else my cowboy brotherfar too late to keep crying its all happened already and no amount of saying i dont want him here changes the fact hes been here and will be here at least through 29021 before the deal is breakable with less capo hit..get the flip over it already,. tiresome this narrative continues AFTER a full season on the new deal..hes a very productive Dallas Cowboy star and if you are fan you might not lie the person but n routing against a player is not a fan..

What makes you think he won’t want another contract before his contract is up.The drama will never end with him. But that’s just part of the game and I hope we have a season. Are you being Safe, my cowboy brother. Stop it. Because someone critiques a player or a coach there not a fan of the team. I didn’t think I’d ever hear that from you.How many times has Elliot tripped over his own ego on the goal line. How many times has he been put the ball in the ground lucky to get it back. How many times has he taken Himself out of the game . It’s those little intangibles that make the difference from good to great. Imagine if he was a complete football player . How great he actually could be. I’m more impressed with somebody that can’t do it but excels because they try harder. Then someone that could do it in just for some reason don’t. Maybe that’s my issue with himfar too late to keep crying its all happened already and no amount of saying i dont want him here changes the fact hes been here and will be here at least through 29021 before the deal is breakable with less capo hit..get the flip over it already,. tiresome this narrative continues AFTER a full season on the new deal..hes a very productive Dallas Cowboy star and if you are fan you might not lie the person but n routing against a player is not a fan..

Game changer yes.
I read the first paragraph. I actually thought you were talking about Elliot in the Rams game. How quick you forget. Bill Bates. Is the guy you described not Tony Romo.yup changed that game with an immediate fumble that cost us the game.. got that right ..if he were a game changer thats a first down and goal to go..i like the guy hes a backup for now..stop the bs narrative that guys like Jarwin or Pollard are stars, held back by coaches..that doesnt happen you make your own opportunity's when you have the shots, neither have YET..
how do you think we know about guys lie Kittle and Moesert?
they made the coaches notice them at every practice, every scrimmage, every PS game and when they got in they made sure the coaches give them more playing time..you are never held back if you are truly great, you bubble to the top..
how do you think guys like Warner and Romo made it to the nfl took over and made the coaches keep them and eventually became stars when no teams saw anything in them..
They’d never do 60/40 paying Zeke all that money.
Pollard is already a game changer.
The Cowboys really needed the Detroit win at the time if they still had a chance in the playoffs. They were 5-4. The Lions scored first with a TD after recovering Zeke's fumble on the Cowboy 28.and the Cowboys could only answer with a field goal. The game was a real shootout, the Lion QB was the backup Jeff Driskol and, as usual, the Cowboy defense tried their best to inaugurate the NFL's newest Passing Phenomenon. He threw for 444 yards and 3 TD's....no INT's.......109 passer rating
Okay, anyway, the Cowboys didn't score again until the first drive in the 2nd quarter with Zeke on the bench. The drive was Pollard's. Starting at the Cowboy 30 on 1st and ten he gained 7. after a few nice receptions to Cobb, the Cowboys enedd up on the Detroit 26. On 2nd and ten, Pollard ran for 5 yards. On 3rd down he caught the ball from Dak and ran it in for a 21 yard score when they really needed something to happen.
Later in the game with the Cowboys trying to create more lead after a Zeke TD, Pollard made a great play for the 2 point conversion. The 8 points he scored was the margin of victory. The Cowboys won 35-27.
