If they make an offer, I think he takes it. He's talked about getting an opportunity, not about money. In fact, when money did come up to him, he said he'd play for vet minimum for another chance in Dallas.
his monkey has to be hungry as hell by now.

Lamar Jackson is probably a good fit for him as long as he still has some gears. Dez was always at his best when the pocket broke down and fighting for the ball, and he'll definitely get a chance to make those plays with Jackson.

The numbers do not support that talk.

But yes, he has been a 'blocking WR' out there. But I'm not sure that the league values that enough for a roster spot. My bet is that his chances left town with Garrett.
Numbers? There's numbers available for blocking on ST's? Didn't know that.

Snap count numbers. That show he’s out there for 30% even then

What numbers do you have to support this claim:

He also had less than three special teams tackles all of last year. Not sure if it was 2, 1, or 0 because the list didn't go that low.

Maybe so, but if my memory is accurate, his tune was much different than when he got cut. Didn’t he want to play us twice per year or something like that?

The lack of interest has probably humbled him a little and maybe even a lot. But would it last if he gets signed? IDK. A tiger doesn’t change its stripes.

will be surprised if Dez doesn’t sign with them.
If they make him an offer, you are probably right. Maybe the Ravens would be a good fit for Dez. I doubt Dez has learned how to run a route and the Ravens QB ad libs a lot. The two of them may get some street ball chemistry.

What am I saying. Probably not. Lol.

I think he has changed. But that’s me.

Numbers? I really don't know of numbers that show ST's work. I've seen it in print several times and I've heard people discussing it. Some have even said that he wouldn't be on the team except for his great ST's work. While trying to find something, I read that he's good doing the dirty work on run downs.

I'm not a fan or detractor of Noah, don't really care. This is simply what I know about him. If you prefer to believe he's not a STer, my care factor is pretty much too low to continue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ten pages of a thread I refused to click on lol.

I was into giving him a shot but after the draft I dont see how that works.

Then they gave away his number. I'm fairly sure this is a dead issue. In Dallas anyway.

Agree, DEZ is no longer a Cowboy.....he bad mouthed every cowboy person he could find when he was let go.....Not sure what the heck DEZ has to do with the Cowboys anymore...... He got paid and stopped producing then got let go.....time for everyone else to let go of DEZ.....he is like Terrell Owens and Tony Romo..... a has been.

I love Dez! I thought he was underutilized and got a raw deal from Garrett.

I wish him the best wherever he goes as long as it’s not in the NFC East or the 49ers.

I think the new regime is looking to move forward and Dez is an ageing blast from the the past with an untested achilles. I wish him he best but it's time to move on.

Some of the few holes we have on the offensive side of the ball are:
A backup receiving TE in case of injury to Jarwin, or ineffectiveness by Jarwin
A RZ threat, as we were the worst offense in the league in 2019 when comparing offense outside of RZ to inside the RZ.
A veteran WR for depth. The projected top three WRs to backup our young three starters have a total career receptions of 21.

The more I think about it, the more I wish the Cowboys would give him a look.

If 1 of the big 3 goes down (Cooper, Gallup, Lamb)...

I'm sure most of you can fill in the blank above...

I don't think the team is necessarily in bad shape even if one of the big three goes down. I think it would just mean something of an adjustment - maybe Pollard playing some slot, or Jarwin getting a few more targets. I'm concerned that Dez would be a malcontent as the #4 WR, so I'm not sure I would want to risk a disruption to have him as an insurance guy. I sm curious about what he can still do after sitting out two full years, but I prefer to watch it play out on another team.
