The Jarwin injury hurts more than the loss itself. Just gave him a new contract, supposed to be the starter and now he may never be the same after an ACL injury. Losing LVE is whatever, we all knew that was a big possibility at any time but Jarwin is a killer

McCarthy's decision to not kick the FG can be questioned, however it doesn't change the fact that Garrett had ten years and different QB's and rosters to get it done and couldn't. So I'm not missing Garrett just because the Cowboys have a week one loss.

this guy that runs the blogging the boys twitter account is the most clueless immature fan ever.

He spends all his time attacking other teams players and media for saying stuff about the cowboys and Dak....then even tonight when it is staring him right in the face that Dak is just a guy he is on twitter blaming others.

unbelievable.

No they didnt...
Come on
They had plenty of shots that included 15-25 yards down field
Many times the WRs were even out of the picture (deeper) even than that. Maybe they had us covered. Wont know until All 22

but come. We didnt have 3 WRs and and TE all running short routes. No way
Of course we didn’t . But before we can say we need to actually see it.
What we could see was a pocket that quickly collapsed. Our pass protection wasn’t strong and our coaches seemed to not roll the pocket or adjust to it.

Well he did throw a perfect pass to Gallup to put them in range to win. The refs screwed the call.

Yes, seriously. The officials let both teams play for most of the game, only to fall for a blatant acting job by Ramsey after Gallup beat him deep. I find that...disappointing.

I guess the smack to Goff’s head that lead to a turnover gets a free pass. Can’t have it both ways There is no guarantee Gallup’s reception leads to anything just like there isn’t a guarantee the Cowboys are able to hold the Rams after a an obvious missed PF. Two big missed calls, have to move on

FWIW, I used to not be a Dak fan. Dak won me over with his physical toughness and I think he’s a fine NFL QB. with that said however, He’s not a first tier QB. He’s not Jackson, Wilson, Mahomes, Brees, Rodgers, or Brady. He’s not even close to those guys but we are likely going to be forced to pay the man like he is because when the season is over he’s very likely going to have numbers posted, just like last year, that are going to make it virtually impossible to not pay him an absurd amount in a contract. Teams don’t let guys walk who produce. Imo we are in a situation similar to the Bengals were with Andy Dalton. I don’t think many were thinking Dalton had the talent to justify that insane contract he signed years ago but he f******* produced on the field even though he didn’t win s***. That’s what we have with Dak and we will pay him outside of him having a bust year this year and given the rather worrisome showing we had tonight, it might fracture our long term plans if we are forced into paying him a huge contract. I don’t think he has the talent to justify that but neither did Dalton. Yet Dak’s agent is going to throw stat after stat at Jerry and Company and they are going to have a virtually air tight argument at the negotiating table.
