kevin stefanski, new coach of the browns put on a clinic yesterday with oft maligned baker mayfield. notice how on the first few series, baker faked a handoff and then suddenly there wasn't a defender within 30 feet of him in any direction as he looked for an open receiver or ran the ball himself. that's what we need to be doing with dak. until our o-line is back to strength, we've got to come up with something better than the rancid offensive showing we produced against the rams. that's clearly on coaching. doesn't matter if the names are garrett or mac.

can not believe you went there, do you know football? sports, its who you play when you play them etc etc

first off it was the 2nd game of the season and secondly it was against Cinci and third off it wasn't against the rams first game on the road not knowing what the 2020 rams would look like....

lets stop talking up team playing team we havent played and them NOT playing the team we played for a more clear comp of teams..

easier to be aggressive with nothing to lose against a team like the Bengal's , remember Daks 3-0 star last year against scrubs and KM calling those games...

Cowboys have looked better in week 1 in the past. Even in some of their week 1 losses. The team I saw last Sunday looked like a lazy version of last year's team. I'm going to just chalk that up to it being week 1 under ill circumstances. A new coaching staff with ill time to prepare. What can we expect?

How many times has it been mentioned long before week 1? That teams coming in with new coaching staffs will be at a disadvantage early on.

how can any game in a 16 game season be called "nothing to lose". whoever lost that game goes to 0-2, which is where we'll be if we don't come up with something more imaginative on offense against the falcons. as for "it's who you play when you play them", that will win the captain obvious trophy for meaningless statements. don't mean to be gnarly, but i found your comments to be mostly unintelligible.

nothing to lose as in playing looser,, if a prize fighter goes into a fight knowing his lessor opponent a tin can and cant hurt him he s much more aggressive and comes inside and looks for the knockout vs p fighting an equal opponent and you know you better be careful .. thats what happens to coaches and players and also game plans..

if you dont get that sorry again you dont know sports..

btw i was clear you cant at all compare how another team played against another team that had zero to do with us and not common opponent in that given season..it was a sports idiot comment of the year..

I see where you are going, I Agree there is no preseason to work out the jitters adjust, slot personnel.

what I want to see, with a mature NFL coaching staff is adjustments, after a couple of series they need to make adjustments to stop the bleeding, ( Fool me once ... ) we have to credit defense recovering and playing better in the 2nd half, but offense stunk it up... go figure, OL issues are still continuing, how long we have to wait for Williams to grow up , backup tackles issue , TE1 to TE2 drop off ( If dalton could catch we probably won the game) These kind of things bother me.

Still a lot we don’t know
