IF true shows how broken and dysfunctional this team is that a guy not only underperforming but costing the team points every week has still continued to start. I mean you would think this sort of disappointment would warrant a benching at some point, no?

What motivation do guys have to get better if they never have to worry about losing their starting spot?

I think Lawrence is also the better player still. Elliott is just a decent back at this point making the most money in the NFL at a position you see teams get great production from for a fraction of the cost. Lawrence might not be giving you elite production but he's playing better than Elliott and you don't see teams getting great DE production from cast offs and cheap guys like you see at TB.
