Its a good thing you told us not to talk about peoples weight, I had a great momma joke!Remember when he signed his extension and I said it was a bad contract and you guys talked about my Mom?
It would send a message to the team that they better start taking things seriously or they will be out of a job.

Of all the big contracts that have people miffed - Lawrence, Elliott, Smith, etc. - he's the easiest one (or more specifically the one that won't cause the most heartburn) this offseason because he's basically a wash cap wise. So yeah, you have to still eat $9MM in cap space but you don't have to take on any additional bonus money or anything like that. You actually have a net savings of $400K.
It's not ideal but it's certainly better than the cap situation if you tried to cut Elliott or Lawrence. Woo boy, those would sting.
He is a Jerry guy don’t see it happeningJaylon Smith is a made man by Jerry Jones evidenced by his contract extension.
It will not happen.
MM is a fraud, after 3-4 games #54 would've been benched by ANY competent HC.
At least the other two can play football. Jaylon can’t play football
McCarthy won't do that.
Jed will call Jaylon into a meeting, draw on a napkin and drone out some stupid analogy and MM will lose any credibility he may or may not of had.
How embarrassing to stand in front of the team with pie on your face....not even being present NOR invited to attend the meeting.
Bad look. Worse results.
But your mom is hawt!Remember when he signed his extension and I said it was a bad contract and you guys talked about my Mom?

The other two eat up way more cap space so relative to their production it’s kind of a wash.
Smith might be the worst of the three but he also has the best contract of the three. Elliott’s is probably the worst of the bunch.
You say alot of dumb stuff. You dont get the benefit of the doubtRemember when he signed his extension and I said it was a bad contract and you guys talked about my Mom?
It’s not happening nowIt may happen in the offseason. Hard to see it happening soon.

Contract guys, what would be the ramifications of cutting Smith this year or in the offseason?
send a message to the team? I don't think so..... Players are not afraid to lose their jobsIt would send a message to the team that they better start taking things seriously or they will be out of a job.
