If the Eagles are done with Wentz, the Cowboys need to get him

If they think he's not worth it, why *wouldn't* they want a division team to get him?

Eh, unless they don't want him potentially rebounding and blowing up in their face 2x a year.

Say he goes to the Colts and rebounds. Oh well. Say Snyder trades for him and he goes back to that lofty "franchise" QB status. Jeffrey Lurie's owners box will burn down.

I mean if a division rival was dumb enough to hand off 2-3 first for him they would do it, but IMO I think they rather just ship him out of the NFC if the comp is good enough.

Since the coaching exodus from Philadelphia after their Super Bowl win, Carson Wentz has had to carry an offense that looked more like an orthopedic wing from a Philadelphia sports hospital.
But he's a solid star and has carried the Eagles offense despite missing so much of his offensive line, receiving corps, and coaching.
He proved that last season, winning the NFC East over Dak and the Cowboys, despite Dak Prescott having all of his weapons and the lead in the division when they faced.
He has done more with less than Dak ever dared to do.
Wentz will be a solid addition to the Cowboys and allow Dak to peddle his skills elsewhere as a free agent.
That is, if Wentz and the Eagles really do part ways.
I thought you decided to self ban?

Please consider it for a while. As a Christmas present to the Zone. Thank you.

I thought we were going with Case Keenum over Dak?
I'd like that, but the Cowboys always take too long to get it right.
They should've signed Keenum as soon as he was available two years ago.
And they have kept Dak already a year too long. As long as he is here, Garrett is here.

Almost 400 yards per game just screams that, right?
No, but it sure was screaming it last year when Dak choked the second half of the season away, and cost us the division- again.
Those "400 yard games"; how many championships have they produced?
Turns out, garbage time stats are just that- garbage.

Does it tear you up that Wentz is awful and not half the qb Dak is? You haters have been proven wrong and moved the goal posts over and over and over again. Yall should be embarrassed, but instead you double down. Its really pathetic to watch.

Well, by your accounting of it he was taking on 11 defenders all by himself, so is it any wonder he didn't come out on top? And he was playing defense too!

in the meantime in Philadelphia in 2018, Wentz was watching from the sideline thanking God Foles is playing and he can get his ring LOL

I needed a laugh today. File this with the other thread that said the Cowboys need to trade for Darnold.
