Although, all of that is true. Zeke does have two rushing titles, and Henry looked terrible on yesterday, with the same personnel blocking for him. You cannot criticize one back for a bad performance, then turn around and make excuses for another.
I do agree with you. He was bad yesterday.

Henry can’t catch the ball. Or they just don’t use him that way because he takes a while to get going when having to turn up field. He has 76 receptions in his entire career. He’s a single threat back. Although in this era most CBs and Saftey want no part in tackling him. “Business decisions” and defenders being fined left and right for “leading with the crown of the helmet” he has been successful at rushing the football. Until of course there are big guys up front that can clog the Holes and not let him get his momentum going. I’d still take zeke over a Henry.

I'd Draft a RB in Rounds 3-5 every couple of years.. and create a RB Boy Band. 4 Years and you out..

There’s nothing wrong with Zeke’s contract he earned every bit of the money. Obviously a lot of you never played football at a high level of competition or the RB position , or football period

u dont pay a player for what they did u pay them for what they are going to do

there is a lot wrong with zeke contract

I do agree with you. He was bad yesterday.

I believe the Baltimore defense, had a great deal to do with him being subpar. Usually, he's bottled up, but breaks one or two late, but he could not get going yesterday. Zeke, looked like he wanted to be elsewhere this year. I don't believe the amount of carries has caught up to him, he just looked disinterested.

Laugh all you want, but on the biggest stage, he fell flat. Some of the backs that you would take over Zeke, are sitting at home, to include now Henry.
You mean like zeke did in the 2018 playoffs with his whopping 2.35 ypc average against the Rams while CJ Anderson looked like an All Pro in that game?

Henry was a 2nd round pick, has a much cheaper contract and is trending up. zeke was the 4th overall pick, paid the most ever for his position and is trending down.

It’s very obvious which back is the better deal and who’s future looks brighter.

I would do disgustingly unforgivable things to have Chubb or Henry over Zeke, but mainly Chubb.

Hoping Zeke takes his off-season routine a little more seriously this year because this past season certainly had to be humbling for him.
Zeke is not changing. He got paid plus he is as dumb as a bag of hammers. They have a declining RB at a big cap hit. So predictable.

The only real problem with Zeke is his contract. (And his off-field brain)
He’s a pretty good back, not worth his contract but...impact player with a healthy OL and QB. Can he be replaced with a draft pick, probably, mostly at least. There are always good RBs every draft.
Hence you never pay them. Such a predictable mistake.

Henry behind our terrible OL would look like he did against the Ravens. Henry needs huge holes opened for him. His advantage is when he gets into space. If he does not do this, he looks like any spare RB. Running into piles all day long and falling down.

I find it hilarious how people think Henry is light years ahead of Zeke.

If you say so, but only time will tell. Henry is in contract hell. He may not be able to improve on his $12.5 million per season. Zeke, is currently earning $15 million per season. He has done enough in the eyes of the organization to earn HIS money. At 27, Henry has signed his last big deal. Zeke, being 24, may be able to cash in one more time. You can bring up draft position, contracts, and whatever else. Zeke, is a Dallas Cowboy, and there is nothing that you can do about it.

The structure of the contract was the problem.

He knew four years of money was guaranteed and maybe he didn't fully check out....but he plays a position where you have to work extremely hard to not decline rapdily.

Hasn't happened. The holdout kept him out of shape then covid.

He is content. HOF talent that will barely cling on in the league as his career ends.

Maybe he can sell a Bengals ticket or two in south Ohio on his way out.

I was hoping Bo Scarborough would be a Derrick Henry type RB for us.

the stupidity that some fans display. when i look back at the 2016 draft i get annoyed not because i think zeke is worthless he isnt but i look and see what could have been.
Ramsey and Henry> Zeke and Jaylon its really that simple and cant be debated
