I am not saying we should force the run, in fact I do like the short throws. Brady made a living in NE doing just that with Welker and then Edleman...what we missed in this past game is utilizing the screen passes, to open up the middle...and like people have been saying, we took what they gave us, well we took 2 or 3 screen passes but stopped it....if they weren't going to stop that, then you keep going to it, like a long handoff and they have to respect it, by moving LBs to the edge, which opens up running lanes.

also, we can't continue to just pass pass pass, at some point Moore has to figure out how to run the ball. what he has done isn't working since last year.

It’s really just the red zone that needs work, from what I can tell.

Moore is an idiot. You are not gonna win many games with your quarterback throwing 40 or more times per game especially with only 2 or 3 TD's to show for it. But what do I know :facepalm:

Just been saying some of the same things for 25 years...........

So you’re telling me throwing a screen pass for 8 yard gain is hurting us but a handoff for 3 yards is the way to go?

I said what I said. Clearly I said "if you throw over 40 times a game. You're gonna usually LOSE. Unless the other quarterback beats you doing the same thing. But that's not usually the case. Jamis Winston 14 for 20. 5 td's. You don't need to throw the ball 40 to 50 times a game to win. Just score TD's. If you gonna throw. Throw deep. Moore loves his dink and Donk offense. :facepalm:

I didn't hate Moore's game plan.

You can't run well on TB with Suh and Vae in the middle.

One of the things I noted that night, I rarely got angry at the play calls.

Zeke runs to the outside with decisiveness and throws a stiff arm and Dallas wins.

We ran pretty well on them running outside. No way up the middle but we did well when we did run outside. Moore just didn't do it enough. Zeke had his one big run outside.

So when you're losing all game and you're facing the best run defense in the league without Zack Martin how do you suppose you come back? Winston threw it 20 times because his team was winning all game lol.

.....Jarwin block with decisiveness/willingness we score.....or KMoore have a guard pulling and we score.....that was too easy.

....then get some depth, which has troubled this team.....we are so dependent on a few to have great or above standard games, or be on the field....the impact of one player is always devastating to this team. Injuries are going to happen, and we're never prepared with depth.

What do you mean? Getting depth would’ve helped with the run? The depth is fine with this team. They need a few starters honestly. This is the deepest this team has been in awhile.

Moore was great in this game, had a great game plan and i like how he says yards are yard dont matter if its passing or running long as we move the dam ball. Well said.

Well I'm glad we just confirmed for the whole league how to beat us.. show a run stop look and we will get pass happy and win less than 10% of our games.. great strategy.

Dak and Moore are a perfect combo.. they both want to pass, pass, pass and have amazing stats and be the talk of the panel shows all week. Meanwhile.. we ain't going to see playoffs let alone a SB.

If you don't have a run game.. you don't win games. Even clapper knew that.

What is truly sad is we went out and built and Oline.. spent a top 5 pick to get an elite RB.. and then proceed to not use him because we have a fourth round, inaccurate dink and dunk bus driver. Opposition defences LOVE playing against Dak.. he ain't going to hurt you that often.. you stop the run.. let him run up TOP and any other stat he wants.. and then compress the D as Cowboys get to the redzone and boom.. you win. Teams have been doing it for FOUR years now.. and seemingly noone on our coaching staff can see it.

Don't give a toss what they say on interviews.. opposition DCs are not worried about us tossing it 50 times a game on quick slants and screens.

You don't know if he identified them correctly or not. We don't know what the key reads were and if he actually audibled into something better.

Audibles and team record are definitely correlated.

When we lose a player via injury.....shouldn't it be the next man up.....instead of excuses. Every team has injuries. This board spills excuses on a regular basis, then picks a player to blame. Just sayin'.

It’s funny how guys say Moore is great then have to qualify it with a “but” and the ways he isn’t. Yup, he still still sucks in the red zone just like he did last year. He puts Jarwin our worst blocker in a position to whiff, again, on a key block that probably cost us 4 points in a game we lost by 2. Then all his blowhard comments in the offseason about how to get Pollard involved and then he can’t figure out how to do it - again. And saying out loud that passing 50 times a game is okay with him because yards is yards. But you, my friend, I give a lot of credit to you because even though you love Moore you are open minded enough to see he has problems too.
