I'm not complaining about Dak's game, minus the 6 fumbles this year. At the end of 2019 I did an analysis for all QBs all-time and normalized their performance. Romo's QB rating was 10th all-time and Daks was 35th out of 331. When you look at QBR though, which includes Dak's running game, Dak is 9th all-time and Romo is 10th -- still means Romo was a better passer to that point.

Dak's throwing motion change really elevated his game though, so it may be worth taking another look since he has about 12 more games since then. Hard to imagine that his passer rating jumped 25 spots in those games, but it's possible.

Dak could win a SB in a 650 yard, 7TD/0int blowout and those same people still wouldn't like Dak. Has nothing to do with his skill at the position. He's proven he's an ELITE quarterback. (Now there will be the 'discussion' about what elite means).

They're all on ignore on my end.

5-1. Could be 6-0 (def outplayed TB), could be 4-2 (LAC game went our way). Given the Dak injury and our returning players, it's the perfect time for the bye and we're looking really good.

Yeah against a below 500 team? Why does it take FREAKING OT to win against a below 500 team? Let face it, this team make Dak look better than he really is. This game is frustrating and why the hell does he have to throw a pick every single time? First against the Giants and now against another below .500 team. You don't see Stafford throw a pick against the lowly Giants do you? This game pisses me off!

Romo was great, and a Dak is becoming great. Both are two different types of QBs. Dak is more Aikman like the difference is he is in an offense that lets him pass more way more than Aikman was able to. Dak has the leadership type that Aikman had. Romo was a playmaker at the WB position like Brees, Rogers, Brady those 3 have rings but I list Romo behind Brady only because Brady has 7 rings, but I list him in front of Togers and Brees even though they have 1 ring. Our front office failed Romo that’s why he doesn’t have a ring

Because we will be expose in the playoff with Dak as our QB. We are like last year Steelers. 11-1 or something coming into the playoff if I'm not mistaken. Our soft cake schedule give us easy wins but it will hurt us in the long run because we are not battle tested.

Its not about these regular season win, its about whether we can win a SB or not. Look to the future, not the present. I do not see it with Dak because he can't carry the team the way other top tier QB can. I watched Stafford shred the Giants, I watched Dak throw a pick and a few picks that were fortunately dropped. This is a major red flag, a tall tale sign of what is to come. Enjoy the win? I expected the Cowboys to win in the first place and not have to go to OT to do it. We only won because our roster is twice or more talented then their. Our coach got outcoach, our QB got outplay by Mac Jones, Moore with some conservative play-call, and a miracle Wilson catch from going 4-2.

I think its pretty obvious not that there wasnt a reasonable wait and see period. Also Romo never led the locker room

Romos a great player and a lot of guys followed him. The problem was t o u see I Ed him . He was already a hall of gamer when he arrived and influenced a lot of the young guys. When he turned on romo, that caused some of the other guys to turn on him.
