Of course there were all kinds of problems.

But we, not surprisingly, have fans trying to excuse his play by blaming others.

I expect my $40MM QB to play better than he did today, even with there are OL issues. I expect him not to do dumb things like throw that awful interception at the end of the first half. I expect him to no panic at times and throw a couple of quick check downs that were covered and resulted in lost yardage.
Yeah well I got something to tell you....I don't care if he gets paid 50 or 60 billion.....if your offensive line is going to play like that? You have no chance. Mahomes was in the same boat. He got the W but he wasn't very good today either. As a matter of fact I'd probably go as far and say he was a better version of what Dak was. His team dropped passes, he made bad throws and mistakes.....he had Tyreke Hill....Dak had......Michael Gallup.

I'm all for holding him accountable for his pay. I didn't sign him to the contract but I know that comes with the territory. But there's a lot of money missing out there. Lawrence, Gregory, Amari, Tyron......that's over 100 million right there not out there. We need to be realistic about what to expect from Dak when the offensive line is poor and his weapons are out.

Kinda hard to get going with that many pressures and 5 sacks. Cant complete a pass when your on your back.

He missed plays that had nothing to do with the OL play. That big interception before the half when we could have gotten points? That was no one's fault but Dak's. That doesn't mean the OL didn't stink. They did. That doesn't mean the WRs didn't let him down today at times. They did.

But Dak was bad. It's almost comical at this point that people can't just admit that. It's not like admitting Dak was bad today would mean you think he stinks overall. He had a bad game. It happens. I mean Mahomes wasn't exactly brilliant out there today either.

We are a finesse offense missing top two receivers and only viable left tackle and trying to control games with a power back without power blocking. It shows.

He still stunk. Let's not make excuses for his poor play.

I think you can have a combination of the two. You can also blame the coordinator for not calling faster developing plays, as well as the WRs for not getting free quickly enough.

One of the rare games this season where no adjustments were made or it felt that way.

So you didnt say that Beathheard and Kaya were better than Mahomes? You didnt say that Dak doesnt affect winning? You didnt say Dalton would run the offense better than Dak?

Are you going to start flip flopping on the Cowboys now and go back your doom and gloom where we are going to be mediocre for the next 10 years?

Dude I’ve explained this to you a million times. Your brain don’t know what to do with the words it reads.

Go watch a video. A lot of people are visual learners. It’s ok.

I don't really care about the money either. But if you guys are going to sell him as an upper level QB, then he's got to play better than he did today. He made some mistakes today, crucial mistakes, that had zero to do with his OL. He missed some WRs. That interception before the half was terrible. He underthrew Wilson on a crucial third down that we needed in the 2nd half.

He just wasn't very good. Again why do you guys struggle to admit that? Even when some come close to saying he wasn't great you get the "but........" followed by a bunch of excuses. It's like you think if you say, "Yeah, Dak kind of struggled today", it's like you are saying he's a sucky QB overall and you have to turn in your Dak is Great badge.

I don't think Dak sucks overall. He's a really good QB. He stunk today however, along with much of the O. I can't see why some can't admit that without trying to then list all the excuses why Dak wasn't good today.

I embrace the word "and". Dak wasn't good AND the OL wasn't good AND I think Moore called a shoddy game.

LOL Well I'm not selling anything. All I've ever said is judge Dak based on what he's shown us. The argument people made was he was a "bus driver" or he was "above average". All I ever said was judge him based on his play and if anyone watched him play they would come to a similar conclusion. I'm just not gonna sit here and wait for every "bad game" by Dak to determine if I consider him a good or bad QB. He struggled today. No doubt. Can't be said enough. But even if he was at his best that offensive line was a issue.

Why do you keep asking me why do I struggle to admit that? Stop putting me in the same category as someone else. I said he was bad today what else are you looking for?

And so how well do you expect your quarterback to play when the offensive line is bad, receivers drop passes and the OC is bad?

He definitely missed a few open guys deep. Other then that he had no chance today. Blaming Dak is down on the list.
No disagreement from me there. People feel the need to hold him "accountable" like he's a child because he gets paid 40 million. He knows he can play better and he knows what he needs to do.

Did we ever run a quick slant or skinny post????.
...everything we ran today was slow developing...time consuming...play action...that they weren't fooled by one bit.
Remember that one game that CowboysZone liked the game plan but the players didn’t execute and we struggled to score points?

Yeah. That’s never happened.

Anytime we have a bad game CowboysZone blames coaches and game plans.

That’s the most in a game this season, with the second most being 21. It’s the second most in an NFL game in the last 10 years.

he stands in the pocket like a deer in the headlights so he will be sacked

the OL did him no favors but a lot of it was his fault

And so how well do you expect your quarterback to play when the offensive line is bad, receivers drop passes and the OC is bad?

You asked a question above about what do I expect you to say.

How about just say Dak wasn't very good without then saying this above? Because it reads like excuse making for Dak and that, in fact, he wasn't bad today, it was just everyone around him that was bad.

I mean you can see how that reads right? On one hand you say, "yeah, I can admit Dak wasn't very good today," but then in the very next post you say well how could you expect Dak to play better than he did if everyone else was bad?
