I am shocked by the negativity

Folks I am as harsh a fan on this forum as any. I have gotten a lot of hate for it over the years.

I am feeling pretty good about the season right now. 7-3. Parsons is a beast. Dak is playing great. Diggs is a beast. CeeDee looks great. Zeke has had a nice recovery. No more Jaylon. We own the division. What did you all expect? KC without 2 of your top pass rushers. No Cooper. No Smith. It was a tough ask. Defense definitely tightened up. That’s encouraging. Real encouraging. Who here wouldn’t have signed up for 7-3 in July? I don’t understand why people are so negative. The situation is much better than we thought it would be. Defensive help is on the way and we get Smith and Cooper back. This team will find that other gear.
Thank you. Someone who isn’t acting like a little girl

So they lose to Tampa and KC on the road. This surprises you?

those are the type of teams they will have to beat 4 weeks in a row to win a SB, LOL

This team just proved they can’t do it even once

so, yes, fans that want a SB will be upset

Most didn’t think this was a playoff team.

Steele can’t play LT. No Gregory and Lawrence. No Smith. That is prime trench talent. It makes a big difference.

You think the defense could have played better? That was a great defensive effort on our part.

The KC defense won that game making our "loaded" offense look pedestrian. The question is which version of Dak Prescott is the real one. Is it the guy who pounds the Atlanta's of the NFL or a guy who can win a big game on the road and make some clutch plays?

Defense was terrible in the first Q and a half. They did tighten it up big time. If you don’t think Gregory and Lawrence wouldn’t help I don’t know what to say.

I think the loss is on Moore and the OL.

I am optimistic about the defense, yeah. They play tough and make plays.

I'm worried about the offense. This is two times they got straight up beat up.

I won't hate. The team just readjusted my expectations. Even after the Denver game I was like "bah, freak accident, 3 wins in a row now and vs. KC the team will show the league who they really are".

Well, they did. Just not in the direction I was hoping for.

7 and 3 as of now. Could be 7-5 by the Friday after next. I think Dallas fans have seen this all before, A Ground Hog day movie that's been retreading for 25 years. I tried to be positive but at some point you need to be realistic also. I mean after every lose we get a gimmick to get the team to refocus and win a game. Last time Monkey Butt:facepalm: I mean either your team is committed to be great or they are not. IMO??? This team is NOT!
Yeah man the Raiders and Saints look like Super Bowl teams. They will dig a grave for the Cowboys.

It's been 25 years of this. The negative comes from the fact that this is starting to look like every other year when the we think the Cowboys have a good team. The Broncos game was supposed to be a fluke. It wasn't.

There's no reason to expect anything different than the usual easy out in the playoffs until this organization gives people a reason too.

And THAT is the (imo still not answered) question as far as I am concerned. But if we lose to the Raiders too, then I will agree.

I think the Denver loss was an aberration. KC was just a loss against a good team playing for their playoff lives in a tough road environment. Add in several key injuries and it was going to happen. I still think Dallas ends up with 11 or 12 wins. Easily wins division. A home playoff game. Let’s see. I don’t think they are a SB contender. LA and GB probably better. Still it’s a long way from 6-10. I am not giving up yet and for Dallas fans that’s a nice situation. This team has chronically underperformed for years.

25 years…believe me I feel it. This team is actually pretty good though. I want to see them with everyone healthy again.

Man, amen to that. Just saying that HOW we lost to KC yesterday just kills it for me. I mean a close 29-31 loss for example with Dak giving them a hell of a race to the finish line is one thing. But this... :(

We've had some good teams in the past 25 years, but they always find a way to screw it up at some point.

I had them at 9-8 before the year, and they will probably finish better than that, but I still don't trust them, and especially don't trust Dak, to play well 4 games in a row against playoff teams when a couple of those will probably be on the road.

The optimism is beautiful........but tainted with some trepidation. That may be the true issue regarding this franchise. Let the games play out. All in with you.
