Honestly I think we’ll be ok. I still think the division is ours to lose and tiebreakers still all work in our favor.

People need to understand that AFC games are the hardest to prepare for every season. Injuries and poor prep have destroyed our chances against AFC opponents. Even without the injuries, we played poorly vs the Chargers and were lucky to win that one.

The team has played far better vs NFC opponents this season and a 4-2 finish should be good enough to grab the 3 or 4 seed.
With yesterday's loss, the Cowboys have posted a 1-3 record against each AFC division over the last four seasons = .250 win percentage. Even getting the victory over New England last month (the added 17th game) barely improves the bad record - 5 wins out of 17 games. Since sweeping the AFC North in 2016, Dallas has lost 14 of the last 21 interconference games.

You Dak critics don't even make sense. Because one minute you say that the team should trade Dak away to another NFL team for draft picks and/or another player or QB and the next you are saying that no NFL team would want to trade for Dak. So which one is it?

Whatever Goff did in the Rams Super Bowl year, didn't matter or count enough to the Rams to keep him and they still took their chances with Stafford who make very little playoff success with the Lions and yet were still willing to take the gamble to trade away a QB you give all of the credit to for the Rams Super Bowl season. Goff had a chance to get it done and couldn't with the Rams, as they didn't want a QB just to get them to the Super Bowl, but one who they believe actually could win one for them and they didn't think that was Goff.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. I said the Rams, not all NFL teams would want Dak. Dak is a serviceable QB, just not with that contract. Same with Goff. Meanwhile Dak can't even get the Cowboys to the NFCCG.

Dak critics still manage to contradict themselves. calling Dak a "trash QB" and say that all he does is "drive the bus" and yet at the same time believes that Dak is an attractive enough QB, for another team to give the Cowboys some 1st round picks for or another top tier QB or player on their team for. Now which NFL team do you know of that is willing to give up 1st rounders for a "trash QB" or "Bus driver QB?"

If Dak got the team to the NFCCG, the goalposts would just be moved to the Super Bowl and some would still find reasons to avoid getting him credit and would still say he only got their because of the talent around him. Yet would be willing to give full credit to QBs like Goff, or another QB in your scenario of Goff or whichever QB Dak's critics want to replace him, leading the Cowboys to a Super Bowl appearance or win. Even if these QBs failed to win and/or get to the Super Bowl on other teams/rosters.

Other QBs could have failed to win the Super Bowl on bad teams or inferior rosters and still have fans willing to give them 90% of the credit, for being able to get to the SB or playoffs on a better team or roster. Yet wouldn't be willing to give Dak any credit and would just say he is being "carried."

Dallas still has the best conference record with only losing to Tampa.

Tampa, Arizona, GB, Rams all have at least 2 losses in NFC.

Got to start winning games though or it won't matter. Got Saints up next and then some division battles. Real challenge will be Arizona and could be huge in playoff seeding

I will reserve judgement until the team is close to 100% healthy.

The shine has worn off this 6-1 start. We have all seen this story many times. Start hot and then fizzle out for many reasons. Be it extremely questionable officiating, injuries piling up, poor playcalling, questionable coaching, terrible play all over the field. At this point, the East is even up in the air. Dallas goes on the road for 3 straight and the Eagles have a cupcake finish to their season.

The excitement of this season has been washed down the drain. If this was a proven team who had players and coaches who could overcome adversity, I would be ok. For example, KC and Tampa. KC was 3-4 and looked dead in the water. But they have guys and coaches who know how to win when it matters. Tampa hit a little speedbump but the same as KC, they know how to overcome and win. We absolutely do not. Dallas is a front running team. They look great when it's peaches and cream and going great. Punch this team in the mouth and they fold up.

I really did buy in at 6-1. I thought this was going to be a different season. Something seemed different. We were winning games we usually lost. Defense finally forcing turnovers. We had that swagger and it was fun. And now, it's painful to watch. We know the end of this movie. I will keep watching because sports is just entertainment and I enjoy it but this team is going nowhere. One wild card win is their ceiling and a beatdown in the divisional round would come next if they even get that far.

mr Blackspider214----- personally i did not quite buy into the 6-1 but the deterioration we have seen in month of November i did not see coming either.....call me crazy or kooky or just stupid....but even with this

horrible dark turn around we have all witnessed....we have several studs and pro bowler all pros coming back from injury....and they are chomping at the bit so so so so bad...watching this deterioration only

amps them up all the more....then factor yes we have very young team and young OC...but even though he looks like paper boy he is kinda fearless....and we got a DC who lost a super bowl as head coach

he should have won easy.....and guess what we still have a 2 game lead right?......these last 6 games in my lowly and have lost one Platinum gurantee this year against Chiefs that i am still taking much heat

and that is Ok i hate it when we lose and i will take the heat....i was so so angry i even thought i lost a Plat guarantee against Raiders but i never put one down only asked us to root for cowboys......yes i totally

agree with many of your points....but and you can hold me to it for life too.....this next 6 games we will see a renewed and tough and powerful both on defense and offense hit the field...not saying we win out

but we will become an opponent other teams will fear come playoff time...and yes we will win the East....Plat times a million highest i can go...Admin can even ban me for life if we dont win East.....and i will

not be offended...yes sad and miss all you guys and gals but not offended.....this is long season 17 games..almost like two seasons in one seeing how we use to play only 12 games a year.....remember 2011?

Giants 6-6....4 games to play they go 3-1 make playoffs...and morph into a Monster and beat Patriots to win super bowl...dont count us out yet mr Spider.....we will morph into a team others dont want to play

We play ONE team with a winning record the rest of the way .

We face the following QBs

- Trevor Siemian
- Taylor Heineke
- Daniel Jones
- Kyler Murray
- Jalen Hurts

0 reason to miss the playoffs

Um, unlike our guy Daniel Jones beat the Raiders (and he had a similarly-depleted offense also).

Are you Goff? lol

Na Goff is one of those rare QB that doesn't seem to give a damn about anything. Maybe it just his face but Idk. He rarely ever show emotion. Meanwhile, I'm one of the most competitive people you will meet with the highest standard.

We look nothing like the same team that started the season at all.

We just look like our old selves right now. Classic Dak.. Classic Cowboys.

mr conner--- i feel the pain....and i agree with most all of fans here who have seen this movie before with Garrett......and this team should be written off by what we witnessed......i am very close to signing

right along with all of you....but we have 6 games left we still have 2 game lead in East....we have several pro bowler and all pro studs out and due back from injury who are so ticked off having to watch

what we watched....the deterioration of November...the team that started 6-1 and actually should have been 7-0 appear to fold into a limping 7-4 wanna be....but a loser .....remember its always darkest

before the dawn.....we got 6 games left we got 2 game lead we got many coming back who are total studs....and we got a fearless young team and young fearless OC and a DC and HC who have both

been in super bowl and our DC should have won that one as head coach......we have both the ammunition and "know how"...to dig oursleves out and in last 6 games morph into a Monster...remmeber

Giants 2011?...6-6 went 3-1 last 4 and morphed into a monster that beat Pats for super bowl win...a 9-7 barely adequate team by most.....turned into a monster that beat the snot out of Packers

at Lambeau field when Rogers and team super hot......and then beat Pats for super bowl win.....we sit in better condition then that team did...and we got the studs or more than that team.....just

wait and see what happens next 6 games...not saying we win out...but we will win East and be a team no one wants to play

I think the season is far from over. And I don’t think we’ve seen the best of this team yet. Some call it excuses but talent matters and when your best talent isn’t on the field, winning requires perfect play. We syy it re didn’t get perfect play yesterday. Some blame Dak, MM, Quinn, Zeke or who ever but winning when you give up that many yards to penalty is very hard to do. Coaches teach discipline but players have to learn it. Lots of yesterday penalties were crap calls on both sides but those generally even themselves out for the most part. When healthy this team can play well and we have lots of talent returning. The timing may end up being perfect if we can hit the playoffs healthy because just like the chiefs last year, you need your best players on the field to win in playoff and super bowl games. With a little luck we could hit the playoffs healthy and have as good a chance as any other team
There is still a lot of football to play and if fans were honest with themselves I’d bet most would not have predicted us to be in much better shape to make the playoffs than we are in
Hopefully the players aren’t like many fans and already giving up

I still think we win the division. We are up 2 (likely moves to 1 after Sunday) with 7 to go.

Eagles have the Giants, Jets, WFT and Dallas. They would need to win out to get to 10 wins. We would have to only win 2 of the last 7. It’s a tall order but not impossible.

I'm thinking we have 3 more losses coming up and that's if we win vs NO. Either way we are playing wildcard round and not sure we can beat any of them unless they can get things righted.

If you say so. Maybe it has for you but I’ll wait and see how it plays out. If this team responds well in December then this was our adversity and it will make us a stronger team for it. While losing 3 of 4 sucks we still have a chance to finish the season strong especially if we can get healthy.

when this team is healthy they can play with any team in the league offensively.
