LVE will be one of the most sought after defensive players in veteran free agency, a 25 year old former 1st round pick and Pro Bowler.
He made some good plays. But so often he's missing tackles and trailing guys because he went the wrong way.
I think he's out of the league in two years

Really comes down to affordability in my mind.He had a couple of good games. That to me doesn't warrant a new contract. But if we let him walk it becomes another guy we're going to have to replace. Really comes down to what you want to do with Parsons. If he plays mostly linebacker (which may be a mistake) then you could get away with just him, Neal, and Cox. At the end of the day the staff really needs to assess if there is a massive drop-off between LVE and Luke Gifford.
Another question that needs to be asked is what are we going to do with the OL? If we really focus on cutting back on penalties does that make Conor Williams worth resigning? He's not the worst blocker in the world.
LVE was one of the few players we had on Sunday that showed up to play.
