I watched Episode 4 of the Book of Boba Fett - “The Gathering Storm”

Good news is that this was a MUCH better episode that last week's mess. And the Power Rangers were nowhere to be found (thank the Maker!). It closed a few threads while keeping others open and thankfully, we see that the Wookiee for hire (whose name I won't even try to spell) is still in the picture. I almost got a bit of a Godfather vibe from the meeting with the other 'families' to discuss the potentially upcoming war. It was nice to see the biker gang finally wrapped up. I still have trouble believing that such an inept group were able to wipe out the Tuskens in that off-screen slaughter. Maybe it was the Pyke syndicate and they simply wanted it to look like it was the bikers?

Anyway, some past questions were answered and we finally have closure on Boba Fett and the Sarlaac pit too. And other than another cringey droid chase, this episode was a much-needed improvement from the last, giving me hope that this series won't be a total trainwreck.
I'm in agreement. Regarding the Tuscans...
I'd be very surprised if it wasn't the Pyke Syndicate that wiped them out.

On another note, I feel better now that they explained why Ming-Na Wen's character is loyal to Boba, but she still doesn't have much personality. As much as I like her as an actress, she really isn't the type who can say a lot with just a look, especially since it's the same look every time. I hope they give her better dialogue. [Spoiler/]

I like the series a lot. With all the movies there is this vast plot that we only get to see a snipet of. A few scenes of training a jedi, 1 battle then the final battle of the wars, a few scenes of themes on different planets.

I like how the mandalorian and especially boba fett are going. I like to follow a character through their plot line. Instead of following a whole bunch of characters through multiple plot lines, and only getting small pieces.

Star wars is too good of a storyline not to follow individual people in depth, and they are joining the timelines of the different shows well.

Enjoying the Book of Boba Fett show.
However I do find it odd that they seem to fluctuate between half hour shows and hour long shows minus the ads.

Have you watched season one or specifically season four? If none, I rate it a must watch……outstanding series.
I have not watched any episodes of that show, only the trailer a few times when I was looking for something new to watch.

I always had Ozark as one of those "meh it looks ok, I'll save it for when Im really bored" shows....until me and the Wife finally watched it, and wow, great show! We are fixin to start watching season 4 tonight actually, as soon as this niners-packers game is decided.

Same, we never had any intention of watching it but the start of Covid had us on lockdown in Los Angeles. We ran out of stuff to watch and decided to give it a try. We were hooked pretty quick!

Kinda sucks they broke season 4 into 2 parts. Finished the first 5 episodes, really enjoying it.

Might be the best season yet, definitely better than season 3 so far in my opinion.

I finally watched the forth episode of The Book of Boba Fett after a great weekend of football, I'm still thinking about that Bills at Chiefs game. This episode was better than the last episode.
There was no cyberpunk gang for @stasheroo and official bounty hunter team up for @DallasEast. RIP Sarlacc.
