He looked fine when he came back and still didn’t get touches.
I saw him look ok but got 1 or 2 carries and then only got a few carries in one series. I know he could go as long as he could handle the pain..

Had our blocking upfront been better Pollard probably would’ve gotten a lot more opportunities. Zeke is a much better blocker.

A 60/40 split seems like it would be a good split for the two backs. That's if we go ba k to being balanced, you make sure Zeke is in on the majority of passing downs to cover up Pollard blocking issues. Pollard needs to work on his issues so he gets more.

What can you do? They brought in Corey Clement as a 3rd RB and brought up JaQuan Hardy from PS. You get down to 3rd and 4th RB it gets to be slim pickings
Yeah, when your franchise RB is injured and your change of pace back up RB have lower body tears, the best thing to do is nothing.

I don't think they did nothing, I think you are limited in what you can do, especially mid season. Dallas brought in Clement and as I said called up player from PS but there are very few options out there come mid season. It is not like you have stud RB just waiting for someone to go get them.

It all boils down to MM/KM kowtowing to Jerry wanting Zeke to get snaps regardless of his performance and injury

Disagree. they did nothing. They actually did less than nothing. The staff or front office fed us BS from the beginning. Elliott only had a "contusion." Later we find out he had a tear. It showed too because he sucked. Looked like he was running dragging a parachute. So instead of resting or fixing it, they kept running him. That is insane.
He hurt his knee in week 4. The beginning of October.
The trade deadline was November.

Naw, we good!

I'm not going to send a link... Try again... Do your own homework to prove me wrong.... I promise, that is exactly what happened...
That's now how proof works. You made the claim. You back it up. Its one of the most basic concepts in communication.

I think this was more FO malpractice. Anyone with two eyes know Pollard is explosive. Mike and Moore can’t be that dumb
If they are then they both need gone. But I think others were in on it and if true they will never pay a price for their decision. Money does not sit on the bench in Dallas. We will never get the true story on why the Cowboys didn't know to play Tony Pollard more and use him like Memphis did in college in the passing game. Out in space, screens. drags, over the top if needed but nope. We will park him even when the world can see he needs out of the hanger and flown.

The Patriots constantly went to SB’s with different running backs catching out of the back field . Here’s a thought line up 66 in the backfield while you put Pollard in motion with the threat of a route or a dump off pass . Takes care of the blocking issue and it gets 21 some down time.

I thought MM was brought here because he was involved in high octane blend gas in Packer land . Brain storm fellas I’m a phone call away you need anymore schemes .
