getting increasingly harder to do this defensively with all the rules changed to help the offenses. But historically, you are correct.

And I have little doubt it will return to that eventually. Same with winning by running the ball primarily. Like what the Titans would have done with a healthy Henry all year?

The league evolves and changes over time...

thats a good point. As an example, The NHL made a huge effort to raise the amount of scoring in games. Along with other changes, they reduced the size of the goalies equipment fairly significantly…..didn’t work, the goalies adapted and still have the edge over the shooters.

uhm I’m sorry but I don’t agree with this at all

the irony is if Stafford were the qb here you all would’ve wanted him gone just like you all did with Tony and are doing with Dak now
You’re certainly entitled to you’re wrong opinion.

Both of them similar qbs posting big numbers in regular season and choking in post season or win to get into playoff games.

Put a team around them like Rams have now, we are seeing Stafford punch his ticket to half of fame.

We did a disservice to Romo in 2016 when we had the best oline and RB drafted to support Romo.
Romo wouldn’t choke under a scheme like McVays. Stafford couldn’t carry any of those teams to the postseason in a Garrett offense.

Stafford is not going to the HOF. Not unless he goes on a Lombardy run for 2-3 years straight.

Stafford is really wetting the bed in the 4th. He better show up against a hobbled Burrow

Romo overall just had a bad hand, but honestly so did Stafford. Garrett was useless to the point where Romo had to actively tell him what to do(I will never forget that WFT game), also that O-line destroyed his body before we actually built a new one. I can't see Stafford having success here at that time, and I don't think Romo would have worked with the Lions(nothing would have).

Similarly underrated QBs, but Romo was better as he showed when he was the clearly better QB in their playoff matchup.

Both were in terrible situations that no QB would have won in with the sole exception of this year for Stafford.

After watching that last Rams drive I have to consider that maybe the conspiracy theorists are right.

What a joke of a finish to a Super Bowl, and the LA media won't care. It'll be all about the great Rams comeback, and no mention of all the help they got along the way.

Looks like they want the rams to win..
I wanted the Rams to win, but it's clear as day the refs also wanted to hook them up with the V. Stafford clearly missed a pass and they threw a holding call after. He still couldn't get it so they make sure to move him to the 1 yard line.

Lol. Glad I was not the only one to see that. Was obvious. More than one flag on that drive. All the sudden.
