Watching this guy stand on the sidelines doing nothing. Watching him stand there doing no coaching during Hard Knocks convinced me Aaron Rodgers was right MM is a box of rocks.

There is no way anyone can convince me, that MM has any influence in FA, I mean either he is just as dumb or dumber than our FO, or he has absolutely no say so whatsoever in trying to sign FA's for this team, sad but true!! which makes it official, he is another puppet HC under Jerry! that's all

I don't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:muttley:

One of the things I wish Jones and Son would do (dreaming here I know) is hire a head coach and let him be a real HC. Settle on a guy.....MM, Quinn, Payton, Whoever....and let the guy hire is assistants, run the locker room, the practices and the games. No more interference from Jones and Son. No tacky second guessing comments in the media. No more evaluation of players to the media. Let the coaches do the evaluation of players publicly and privately. The evaluation for the managers of the coaches should come at the end of the season once the season is complete and the work for the football season is done. Management needs to let the HC be the man in charge of the players unless there is a very unusual set of circumstances like happened last season in Vegas and Jacksonville.

get ready at the end of 2022. the big excuse is coming oh by the way how are a lot of you gonna pay those ticket prices when gas and food is high i guess your kids go hungry so the jones can keep their prestige, especially with another un expectant girl delivery, take my advice save your hard earned cash stay at home and watch them get humilated on TV. draft season in 2023 is just around the corner

i would have argued with you last season but he’s been completely emasculated by Jerry this offseason. I feel bad for him. I actually hope he walks away before the season and leaves Jerry holding his junk.

$5 million a season, right? That's a lot of $ to leave.

It’s well known that MM doesn’t even want to be involved in FA. Not exactly a brilliant thread here.
I disagree. I think his first season he had pull. But with what happened with Poe and McCoy the Jones boys took it away very quickly.

Give me a break already. Big MM took this team to 12-5 his 2nd year here, after a pandemic and injuries ruined his 1st year. All the coaches contribute to FA/Draft/Personel decisions, so stop your bellyaching for crying out loud.

Rather be coaching and spending Jerry’s money than sitting home watching tape. Jerry’s pitch to Mike!

I believe mike told jerry in the beginning that he could buy the groceries, and he would coach them up lol.
So he never intended to be involved in player aquisition. He aint no jimmy johnson!

Why hasn't any sports reporter ask the Gm Jerry Jones this question, " It has been 27 years since the cowboys been in a Superbowl, your way isn't working, so isn't time for you to step time as the GM?" Instead asking softball questions

He wasn't a victim.
He was not forced to sign a contract.

There are no published reports of any pending divorce or massive debt or bankruptcy issues.

He wasn't a newbie college guy who wasn't aware of Jerry and ALL of what is required to make Jerry comfortable to be Jerry's HC.

Supposedly he was trying to repair a damaged image as a fired head coach from his previous team.

NOW though, he has obviously compromised any remaining credibility as anything other than as a member of Jerry's long list of Yes Men.

He is worse than those other Yes Men though imo. His previous record totally fools you into thinking he was something that he wasn't at GB because now its so much clearer how he truly was just riding AR's coat tails.

It was all about the money.

Mike McCarthy chose this path all by himself. He should not have taken the job if he felt the ownership would not allow him to be a HC.

It still does NOT excuse him from obvious and blatant ineptitude at the fundamentals of coaching. He STILL is required to at least meet the minimum requirements of competence. But even these most basic attributes seem to be lacking.

Poor Mike...

NOT!

lol
