That was a good qb right there. Almost not a buckeye.....then he woulda been....right.
Another case of playing an injured qb.....he had a bad game and we pooped the bed.

tOSU qbs on the nfl? Im embarrased. We suck. Ever other position rocks. I dunno. Bound to break one sooner or later.
He won’t be if bears don’t improve the line

Not sure if he succeeds either way. As you noted....zero track record for tOSU qbs. We have like zero nfl qbs and that is weird considering we run pro offense.

The young kid coming up might be different. Osu fans arent all in just yet. Maybe YOU would like him.:muttley:

Or that the FO doesnt play Pollard more because he cant block or that Dak will get killed.

Gotta love this guy as he goes around dispelling many of the myths that people hold onto in defense of players they like or players they dont.

I like ****NOT-AN-OFFICIAL-SOURCE***., he's a Cowboys fan with quality content on his channel but saying that Pollard is a willing blocker doesn't mean he is a good blocker. We all want to see Pollard get more snaps because he is vastly more explosive than Zeke, but he isn't the complete RB that Zeke is.

That is a fair assessment. He is supposed to be more explosive and speedy. They are supposed to compliment each other. Why we have people that try to pit against each other us sickening.

They are perfect pair and we sit here bickering about it. Stupid.

He can run and catch better. That is the two big ones. He can block...............check!

Zeke could have a roll, but a much smaller one and for about 3 million per season.

Oh look, superfan has a minion.
If you agree with anything this troll says, you obviously don’t have a clue either.

Stay in your lane, bro. You have no idea what you’re talking about, or who you’re talking to…

this thread is hilarious, the original post and videos, shows how poorly Pollard blocks, which and then saying he can just get in the way, that’s just plain funny. Getting in the way haha he had a hard time doing that. He’s a secondary RB give him the ball 4/5 times a game pass the ball to him let him return kicks basically what he’s been doing is good and it works, it’s not broken

Yah, he didnt play because it took Zeke almost 4 quarters and 18 carries for him to get 86 yards which is how much he needed to get over 1000 yards on the year.

Oh and here I thought it was because he was injured and on the inactive list. Oh wait, he was injured and inactive that week as others tried to point out before you doubled down.

Its a FACT that Pollard had 4 carries the week prior to the 18th game. So your injury "opinion" was just proven false.

"Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard has officially been ruled out of Sunday’s Week 18 matchup at the Philadelphia Eagles. Pollard has been limited in practice throughout the week and will not travel with the team for the season finale.

Pollard has been dealing with this foot injury since running for a 58-yard touchdown against the Saints on Thursday Night Football back in Week 13."

Come on man. You don't like Zeke we get it. But seriously, don't make stuff up.

Lol, you call that blocking?! More like getting in the way... Yeah I get it, you've given up on Zeke, but can Pollard be an every down RB?? Apparently, the Cowboys "brain trust" aren't convinced of that, at least not yet.

Zeke being selfish is a fact only in his mind, but he wants others to believe it just as much as he does. He seems to have a God complex. You know, the guy that wants everyone to see things the way he does. And if they don't see things his way, then they're wrong.

They could have played the starters to boost their stats, yeah. But they also could have played them to go into the playoffs with some momentum. If McCarthy did play the starters to boost their stats and if that's what the players wanted to do, then good for McCarthy. Because a head coach must win over the locker room, right? You know to get the played to like and/or respect him. So a guy trying to turn playing the starters in week 18 into a bad thing... doesn't get my vote. It was a win, win situation for both McCarthy and the players.

I don't think I am convinced Pollard is a good blocker because someone pulled together a montage of plays where Pollard got in front the of the right guy. We've also seen plays where he missed the block completely or blocked the wrong guy. This is not a criticism because so many RBs in the NFL don't block well, even some of the best in the league were not good blockers.

I don't really want Pollard blocking anyway. I want him running screens or taking little flares for big yards on passing plays. Otherwise I want him running outside and beating the pursuit to the edge. Zeke can block, but he is not great at the things Pollard can do..

Your missing the point. An injured zeke shoujd have been resting in a meaningless game. Yet he played because he wanted his meaningless 1000 yards he couldn’t get last year.

Then went out and averaged 2.6 ypc the next week in our playoff game and took a big dump. It’s not like he needed 10 yards. He needed 86 yards, 18 Carrie’s and 3 full quarters.

Dont care if he is an every down back. He just needs to be given more runs and catches than the slow and plodding Zeke. ZEke can be a great FB.

it was full analysis of his blocking. Video was just showing proof. And where’s the proof he can’t block?. It’s a myth. Zeke apologists made it up in defense of their fallen hero.

then why did they take out zeke immediately after he broke 1000 yards?

duh because they wanted momentum. Lol

it’s common sense. Now if you don’t have it that’s your problem.

I'm saying it doesn't matter. If the players wanted to boost their stats and McCarthy let them. Then good for McCarthy. He has to win over the locker room. So your point of view doesn't matter. Who cares why he played the starters. What happened has happened and theirs nothing you can do to change it. It was probably a mix of both scenarios...who knows?

There's no guarantees that resting our starters would have allowed us to beat the 49ers anyway. So what's the point of questioning a decision that's already been made? The reason behind the decision is moot. It was a win for the team, the players, and a win for McCarthy in the locker room. I'm not seeing a down side there.

You've been saying they didn't play Pollard because they wanted Zeke to get to 1,000. That's simply not true. Pollard was ruled out for that game. But if your curtailment of the situation to be negative, then by all means be yourself.
