Even if they start 0-3, I won't give up believing in this team, because it's a 17 game season and anything can happen.

I'm actually prepared for it. I hope the Cowboys are ready to make some moves if they come out of the gates losing.

Best case scenario for Dallas this year will be 10-7. They are not gonna dominate or sweep the NFCE this year. They may still win it because of how bad the others are, but that may be all they win. The defense will be solid, but the offense will be weaker than last year. Why does the song, "Send in the Clowns" come to mind?

But, for me, there's nothing to jump off. I haven't been "on" for years because I have zero faith in the Cowboys front-office-for-life of Jerry and Stephen Jones.

Some folks still seem to believe that if we just hire the right coach, we can win it all. Yeah, no, I don't buy that theory. The Cowboys dysfunctional front office, with nearly three decades of proven failure, isn't going to be overcome by an employee. We'll get another scapegoat, sooner or later, but the same results. I agree. I was referring to some sentiments I’d recently seen that an 0-2 start would sound the alarms on the season .

That’s your spin. What I’m saying is based on our recent history and trends it shouldn’t be a negative. Why would we expect to begin beating the top teams in the league?

It is what it is and we are what we are this era. That’s the negative. Expecting more isn’t sound analysis.

Yep. The list goes on. In the end it’s about team building . And great coordinators and strategist aren’t always great team builders. It’s all about the talent. Without it , coaches are limited.

It gets pathetic at times watching teams hire Coordinators as HC's, even after they've shown it's not their strength. Being a HC and being a coordinator is a completely different job requiring a completely different skillset.

Josh McDaniels is getting his 2nd shot as head coach with the Raiders. He crashed and burned at Denver without having a Tom Brady at his disposal and now the raiders are giving him another shot despite his past failures……this league reeks of familiarity over potential.

Hey, maybe Josh learned his lesson. Josh dug his own grave when he traded up in the 1st for a QB who could not pass at an NFL level and most likely was never going to be able to, especially considering his stubbornness.

It’s a tough schedule. With the lack of WRs and the entire season on an injured Zeke, I could see a 3-5 or maybe even 2-6 start. I figure they go 50/50 in the division. They might beat the Bucs game 1, the bengals are really tough. Split the div games and then the Lions game is a trap game I hope they don’t fall for that. I could see 5-3 best case. Saying 4-4 is kind of a cop out so I’m taking the under, hope I’m wrong and Ceedee/ Zeke tear it up. The defense should keep it close in most games.
