Now all you've known in your lifetime are the Jerry Jones Cowboys (and drinking the Kool-Aid and loving it I might add) as you have found the team that suits you the most.
Now since I've been a fan of the Star prior to Jerry why don't you do us all a favor and send your buddy Jerry an email and tell him to sell the team so we may one day once again experience long-lost glory days!!!
Dream on as all fans are entitled to do so but telling others how to support their teams is beyond your pay grade.

With our brutal beginning with Bucs and Bengals at home it’s very likely we could start 0-2. Which shouldn’t be alarming . I’d be very surprised to win either of these games.

The good news is we have NY and Wash following . And then Rams and at Philly. But then it gets much easier after that with Lions and Bears.

5-3 or worse case scenario 4-4 at the bye puts us in good shape down the stretch to contend for division and playoffs.

9 or 10 wins still keeps us in contention for division and playoffs which for basically a retooling season about all we can hope for. And we’ll need to stay relatively healthy . If we over achieve it could be better but we’ll have to upset some teams we won’t be favored to win. I think 10-7 is a good goal.

Bucs and Bengals are solid teams. Beating either one would make a good case that Dallas can “hang” with playoff-caliber opponents.

I don't believe we'll be 0-2 because anything can happen in the first 2 weeks. Especially week 1. Dallas could go 2-0 and I wouldn't blink an eye because it wouldn't mean much. Those first few weeks are not an indication of what you'll be by mid season. Sometimes it is, but very often it isn't.

I don't know Jerry at all. Frankly, I want the team to be better. I'd love for us to win the SB at some point. It'd be nice to experience what you have experienced. That said, the way I see it, if I'm really miserable about watching the Cowboys, then why would I waste my time and energy supporting a team that I don't think will ever reach what I want? I'm just giving my perspective. I try to stay upbeat and optimistic as best as I can. Does that make me a homer or "drinking the Kool aid"?

We all watch and we all support but a large portion of fans after 27 years of having Coach/GM/Owner/Waterboy/ in command have seriously downplayed any expectations they might have taken for granted prior to the Jones takeover!!

You are right about the reputation of the organization firing coaches quickly , many hesitate coming here although garrett was given 10 years. it is painful that jerry had to get this hire right .
