I believe they'll look at potential back ups who are cut. Folks still holding out hope for Fisher, Peters, or a trade are likely to be disappointed.

I'd just like to see us add a vet as depth at least. Don't think anyone could feel comfortable with Ball and Waletzko at this point, and we have no idea how Tyler will fare.

I actually would prefer Peters, but know it's very unlikely. Cowboys aren't going to be looking to pay starter money.. Someone more like our last three backup tackles is likely (Cam Fleming, Cam Irving, Ty Nsekhe).

so after bad play from our OL in 21', we'll have down grades at LT & LG and likley swing tackle in 2022.

Based on the time of year that's all you can really expect. Shame on the Cowboys for not bringing in more depth a few months back, but it's September in a couple of days. Starting caliber LTs are not just sitting on the FA wire.

Thats exactly how I took it. They’ve already penciled in smith at lt. It’s just adding some backups now. I was hoping for a trade but clearly not.

Where that is: Penalty-prone college tackle who did not practice a snap at LT in camp set to start opening day at position against tough Tampa Bay defense.
I can see why Stephen would feel good about that.

I say heck no to Jason "fat guy" Peters. IMHO, he stinks and always has. I think he should be considered the most overrated player in NFL history.
Sure wish we still had Ty or Fleming here right about now.
