Jefferson is better than CD Lamb

I think Tolbert can be a starter in time. I’d rather have ced Wilson and cooper. The worst thing to happen to this offense we in 10 years was lamb being there when we picked.

At this point, he's "Jerry's" guy because he fell and he sees the big dream of Lamb being the next #88, made his mind up about and forced CeeDee to wear the number. EVERYONE can tell CeeDee didn't really want to take on that pressure and I frankly wouldn't blame him. CeeDee can be a high end #2 receiver but not sure he has everything else to make the #1 leap. I am just not seeing it all. He would've continued to flourish with Cooper still here.

I agree. The way Dak is throwing to him forcing hops and balls behind, CD was a great route runner and YAC guy, not a speed demon that’ll beat you over the top. We lack an accurate QB. Also, it doesn’t help that he was being doubled all night.
Your right. Give him a guy like Cooper or OBJ and he would shine. With a qb that can hit his targets that is.

Still too early to tell, but I was annoyed when we got rid of Cooper.
Cooper s personality doomed him in Dallas. Dez and mike are fiery guys with strong it going personalities. Copper seems shy. I guess that turned them off. He’s the best route runner since t o. No one on the team gets that kind of separation. That’s why dak struggled. He didn’t have 3-5 wide open completions. He had to be accurate. He could t do it. He’s like Mcnabb. If he has to throw in tight windows, he not as good.

I had doubts about this guy being a number 1 receiver, and this game did nothing to ease those doubts. 2 catches for 29 yards.

Jefferson>>>>>>>>Lamb
He is not WR 1 material.......sorry just is what it is!

The Bucs treated him like a #1 WR. Their entire coverage was geared towards stopping him.

Lamb didn't have much of a chance. He was constantly in double/triple coverage or was being overthrown.

Yep.

But conversely, Jefferson and Chase would be be misused and put up much worse stats if they were here under this current set up.

Can you believe I have Chase AND Jefferson on my fantasy team? True enough if they were here.

The way Dak was throwing and the play call, it wasnt going to happen for Lamb today.

Was really hoping he'd do SOMETHING but he turned into She Hulk. Dude ain't a #1 and I hope we don't overpay for her. Not a playmaker at all and even with Dak hes struggled. Yikes with Rush now. Oof...not good

Oh yeah.... "Lamb is ready and we won't miss Cooper at all." That really aged well for the people that believed that garbage.

This guy makes lots of mistakes and not nearly the amount of WOW plays to make up for it.

Loved him in college and his first year- have been dissappointed with his production with the amount of volume he gets and the hype around him.

I want to think he has the talent, but he definitely. Seemed disinterested today. Wether cause of the early drops or Dak not being accurate. But couple times I thought he short armed a couple, didn't seem to go after the ball very hard ...

I just think it was dumb to part with Cooper and throw all your confidence to Lamb. I thought Lamb+Cooper was awesome and loosened the entire Offense up for everyone. They broke up the band last off season and relied on scrubs to take places when something was working. The D is who really pooed the bed in the playoffs and they fixed some things on it. Why change anythin on the offense but maybe draft more OL to develop? The expected a 3rd round guy and James Washington to do the job without a hitch. I mean you'd at least think they'd be smart enough to get two tier 2 type WR's that have played well like Curits Samuel (he tore it up for the commanders today). It doesn't make any sense to me. Say what you want about Cooper/Wilson an their money but you get what you freakin pay for a lot of times.

I have to disagree. Cooper was not worth 22 million. Now he was definitely reliable on 3rd downs to beat single coverage and run a great route. But we had to move on from him. Hard to judge Lamb without Gallup and with no run game and Dak throwing like Fields. It was really obvious today that Dak's rapport with these other young receivers is just not there. No connection. Lamb had a tough time tonight. I noticed at times he had a hard time getting off press coverage. Stay tuned on that one.

Buddy, Cooper didnt even break 1000 yards. Cooper is 1000 yards and 7 TD type receiver. That is NOT 22 million worth.

Not a #1. Team was foolish to put so much faith in him.
