....What is sad...the Jones clan can't see they have killed the fan base. There isn't a new generation of fans. In 20 more years.

His argument is that we restructured a bunch of deals to get that far under the cap just in case there was someone they wanted to sign. So the cap space wasn’t really there in a sense. Now that it’s there they’ll just roll it forward to next year and use it next year. He’s technically not wrong.

I just don’t understand what opportunity they were looking for. He could have added to WR, OL, pass rush, corner, a lot of areas to help the team. Why did they decide we’re going to let Gregory, Cooper, and two onlinemen walk and do nothing meaningful to replace them?

They made a conscious decision to tank this year so they have more to spend next year. I don’t understand the reasoning behind that. The NFC isn’t that loaded. Why not go for it?
