People fail to realize that Dak isn’t that much better than Rush.

I went back and did a quick count to see Dak’s record with Moore as OC when the defense doesn’t generate a TO. 2-5, 1-1, 0-3…. He only won games against trash teams, like bottom dwellers, meaning he has only 3 wins, but 9 losses. Included in the loss is the 2019 play-off qualifying game to the Eagles and Wentz, when Dak threw over 40 times and could only muster 9 points, meaning 3 FGs.

Ironically enough Dak threw 3 INT's against Philly in 2017 so while this whole thing is based on hypothetical, Dak has done what Rush did several times.

That said, in spite of Rush going back to back TD drives to start the 2nd half to pull Dallas to within 3 points, his 1st half was terrible and put Dallas in a very bad position.
2017? That’s 5 years ago damn y’all are reaching this morning….

I don’t know why people are hung up on the Tampa Bay game. The offense of line was in shambles on the third play
I'm not looking to turn this into a trash Dak thread, I just don't think we can assume that Dak playing equals an automatic 25-35 PPG. My gut tells me that a healthy Dak wins that game, but we have the Tampa game, the Denver Game, the SF game, the KC game, the first Washington game last year, the NO game. Dak absolutely lit it up at times last year, but Dak has had some very poor performances that we can't just ignore. We have seen that Dak is more than capable of leading a top offense in this league, but we need to see him do that consistently. We can talk all day about why the Cowboys have been coming up short, but the reality is they have come up short frequently.

He’s not the cooper rush PR team he’s the I love Romo PR team and hates all things Dak because of his Romo love

he comes out of the woodwork when there is a narrative he can use. He’s crickets when Dak is rolling

He threw 3 against GB in 2019 and they were fine 31-3, when Dak began his traditional “garbage-time” stat padding.

Against Denver, he may not have thrown one, but they were down 30-0 well into the 4th and Dak began his traditional “garbage-time” stat padding.

There is nothing to indicate Dak would put up TDs in a slowed-down game, with all these heavy sets, since he’s really just not that good

Do you think if a healthy Dak had played the Eagles we would’ve scored another TD?
YEs or 2 more fgs with 2 less INTS.. see what i did here lets not have that happen and 2 drives get 6 more points and not have the shegales get that last TD..we win The IF game can be strong but Daks destroyed the eagles in the past and i believe we win this game regardless of the final score.

Yes, I think it's reasonable to presume Dak would have scored another TD if he had played vs. the Eagles in that game. I'm guessing it's quite possible that two of Rush's three picks might have been avoided. Dak has usually been careful enough to avoid that many picks in most games. I think one pick would have been quite tolerable and still have left enough leeway to secure a fairly close win.

People fail to believe. That the entire league every single quarterback. It’s just a little bit better or a little bit worse than the next guy. They all have their faults and strengths

I am first and foremost a cowboy fan. I have no problem critiquing when it’s deserved. But the Roy call Prescott a loser. Some of these people just can’t get past the hatred for him. He took over their hero Tony Romo spot. And I can understand that to some point. Yes this franchise needs a franchise quarterback. Prescott is far better than a Cooper Rush. But Cooper Rush is an excellent job holding down the fort. Right now I couldn’t be happier where we sit. We will have to play those Eagles again. ****** I just swore. I wasn’t going to say their name all season

This was the first game Cooper Rush actually lost. I don’t believe Prescott would’ve lost the game. Whether we would have won it or not I still don’t know. I don’t think that’s important because he wasn’t on the field

I'm right there with you man. I'm thankful for what Rush did, but it became obvious the more he played that he is truly a backup in this league. Dak has performed like a top 5 QB at times, but he has also had plenty of terrible games as well. I try my best to call it honestly as I see it, but that doesnt sit well with either the Dak haters or the Dak apologist haha.

I'm just grateful to be 4-2 as it seemed like this season would be a throw away year. Who knows what Dak would have done against Philly, but it's time to look forward. I've been down on the guy lately, but let's see if he can't take this team over the hump.

But he didn't win against the rams the team did we could have literally, and im serious, not suited up a qb and ran the wildcat and won that game. best thing rush did do was not turn it over and keep the offense from being bad.
some timely luck ie rans game had 2 fumbles recovered by us, week before 2 INTs negated by penalties. his luck slowly ran out and i welcome Dak back..

I know what you’re saying. I just find it hard sometimes to put into words what I actually am thinking. I’m so much more confident Prescott behind the center

Which drives me crazy, is these people that hate Prescott so much . They don’t care who is behind center as long as it’s not M. It just makes them sound so informed to be kind
