I am not going to say they are lying. I haven't watched much Cowboy football myself this year . If anything, this thread confirms Jerry's beliefs that the fanbase will remain strong no matter what type of team he fields. It is each fans own choice if they decide to support subpar teams and the bad decisions that keeps them subpar. I will never consider changing teams, but I will withhold my support until some major changes are made. After so many years of failure, it is hard to maintain any type of hope with Jerry running things.

I think Garrett stays, Kiffin and Callahan go. Or Callahan moves back to only coaching the offensive line...but honestly after seeing what this new guy has done while Callahan's been doing offensive coordinator, I don't even think Callahan is required.

I don't see why anyone would jump ship just because a HC is staying ... If that's what causes somebody to root for another team, then they weren't a fan to begin with.

It's really fitting when you think about it.

Garrett, Romo, Witten, and Ware all have been tied together. And together, because of JG will cause there careers to be nothing more then average meaningless stats. No substance.

Already lost a ton of interest. I still watch the games with friends like I have for years, but the last year to year and a half it's more about hanging out with them than the game... Getting repeatedly kicked in the junk by continually finding incredible ways to blow leads will do that.

My only hope has been a coaching change to truly maximize the use of our talent and give Romo and Co. a last hope at doing something before their careers are over, but apparently the family portrait puppet trumps that for Jerry.

I didn't suggest you do anything. I created the thread for posters to express their feelings and emotions. There are many fans that are fed up and refuse to support bad decisions. Does it make you a better fan if you support a mistake? I don't think so. I have much more respect for the fan that places the long term success of the team above supporting this current mess. Let's face it. If you support the mistakes, the deserve the outcome. At one time, I thought Cowboy fans deserved better. No, they really deserve this circus.

I will keep rooting for the Cowboys regardless of who the coaches are. Anyone who would stop rooting for a team based on who the coach is was obviously never a real fan anyways.

CL this is exactly how I feel. I actually feel duped every year thinking this moron will see what we all see and make the change to save Romo and the gang from this dude that does not deserve to be coaching this team.

It makes no difference who the coach is as long as Jerry's involved the way he is now.

I watched perhaps 25% of the games this year. What pleasure is there watching an incompetent coach with zero leadership ability or long term plan fumble from poor play call to poor play call ?

The Cowboys are a team adrift, without a rudder, without a chart. All we see is Jerry/Garrett fumble from scheme to scheme, from player to player trying to play catch up with decent teams, yet having zero understanding of what they are trying to produce. Under Jimmy/Parcells/Landry, you could see the plan, you could understand what was being produced, the goals set out and grow with the team. We were building, we had a commitment to excellence and I was proud to be a dedicated fan. There is no plan now. I would defy anyone to claim that there exists some long term design beyond knee jerk reactions and fear. Jerry is too reactive and impulsive to stay on course while Garrett is too inexperienced, incompetent, and arrogant.

My time is important. Less and less will be wasted on a pathetic owner, an incompetent coach, leading some (not all) bad players. Until a decent coach is brought in, my interest will continue to wane.
