If Garrett remains, will you?

I'm getting tired of being sold a bill of goods every year by Jerry. I will still follow them, but certainly not with the same fervor that I have been.

I can't figure out why some guys are hoping to win a playoff game, yet admit that we have no shot at the SB. I can't figure out why that kind of mediocrity is celebrated by some. That just simply justifies ole JJ's HC Skills. I don't want to even see the playoffs personally, unless we have a team with SB potential. Otherwise we are accepting mediocrity. Such mediocrity, that simply getting to the playoffs, much less a win is almost considered the end game around here. Oh how times have changed.

Too early to say. If we play well and appear to be competitive, I'll stay the course. If the season takes a nose dive and it becomes clear that JG is still in way over his head I might start to lose interest in the current Cowboys team...

Like above, I'm a lifer. This doesn't mean I accept mediocraty, it means I'm a cowboys and that's that. All this talk of losing = Garrett staying is boring bellyaching speculation where you put what you want first and foremost.

I want to win.

Jones has shown he can see an entire picture to make his decisions and I doubt very seriously he's hinging Garretts job on

ONE FRIGGIN GAME.

Only the IGS sees things one game at a time and whine like stuck pigs every step of the way.

I think Garrett had his shot and its time to move on.

I will NOT twist and warp every move to get us there in a play by play fashion and I've come to post so much less cause 80% of the posts are the same thing.

I've toned down my emotions over the years and put this "game" into my own lives perspective and will be here until I'm not.

The rest of the whining fans just mean I cut back on social media, not the cowboys.

I think that's the key; finding a way to tone the emotions down with respect to the Cowboys. Looks like you have succeeded where many others have not. I'm still trying...

Everyone saying that they'll take a year off or lose interest is lying. You'll be back around OTA's when Jerry is selling the Kool Aid.

Sorry to say that if anyone says no they are not a diehard fan. I know I will catch flack for saying this, but reality is you stick with your favorite teams through thick and thin

This is the crap that gets old. Just cause I choose to stay a fan doesn't mean I drink the kool aide. This extreme measurement of things is bull****.

I won't even watch the Eagles game without Romo. To give you any idea of my level of excitement as a fan. It'll be NFL.com gametracker for me.

I don't demonize Jason Garrett for the sins of Jerry Jones. Garrett needs to go only because the owner is a lunatic and we need a big name coach here he'll halfway respect.

It's not Garrett. It's Jerry. It's always Jerry.

I will pay attention but I won't take them serious until he's gone. I will not plan my Sunday's around watching this sickening team. It would be ridiculous to take them serious. I don't think I'm alone.

This is exactly how I feel. I'm at the point I'm more interested in the offseason moves then watching this team actually play. I only watched one full game live this yr. the rest I DVR and scan thru

I am a fan of the cowboys and their history
jerry's idiocy and jason's incompetence will not drive me away

if we do keep jason, i have complete confidence that we will continue to be average to slightly above average and are very unlikely to be in the conversation as a real contender come playoff time

i dont see a team with garrett as HC or OC being in the SB in the next 4-5 years because he does not value the trenches, has not shown the ability to make adjustments in game, and just makes too many poor decisions at critical times in the game and actually costs his team games by doing this (this is tough to do folks)

to be in the SB, you have to win 3-4 consecutive games many times in hostile environments, against the best teams giving their best effort and garrett's team has not won 3-4 in a row in the regular season all year (maybe in 2 years)

this is a bad coaching staff overall but we as fans, are gluttons for punishment, and jerry the shyster and jason the clown know this

i will be here and state the facts as i see them

I don't think we need a big name coach. But we definitely need one who possesses autonomy from the owner. We also need an imaginative playcaller ... not someone who will dust off their 90's playbook.

I will watch the game. My heart will out to the team. I will also blame the loss on Jerry Jones' ineptitude.

That simply isn't true for every one. I can tell you until three seasons or so ago I would do anything not to miss a game. If it meant go to the local sports bar or watch a live crappy stream on my lap top. That hasn't been the case the last few seasons. I had a chance for opening day tickets paid for this season and passed. I have flown to games in different stadiums in the past and have lost interest in doing so even though some of my friends still do. I'm pretty tired of Jerry overall. So no, not every one buys his kool aide.

Exactly. We can still be fans of the team and hate the owner. We just adjust how it affects us as we go, not let it drive our emotions.

Seen a lot in Dallas since 1967 when I became a fan....plenty of tough times before Jerry and Jason.

I will die a Dallas Cowboys fan, no matter what.

I'm a cowboy fan, been one since I was 4.
that's not going to change… anyone who can change that, I question if they were really a fan in the first place.

If Jerry decides to keep Garrett as head coach, will you remain as involved and maintain the interest that you currently have? Just how fed up are you as a fan? Will a win over the Eagles change any opinions on Garrett staying or going? Tell us how you really feel.

Yes I'll be staying. I always have and I always will.

I wanted Garrett gone regardless of rather we won Sunday or not so winning Sunday changes nothing there for me but I don't believe Jerry was ever going to fire him in the first place so again I wasn't going anywhere regardless.
