I didn't want to say it because I didn't want to start a big controversy. T-Will had great chemistry with Romo. Dak needs a different type of receiver at this point in his career. Hopefully, they will start clicking real soon. Dak shouldn't have to checkdown to Witten all the time, although that is a money option.

If Dak doesn't have better ball placement, he'll need a receiver that can attack the ball or stuff like this will happen a lot.

....and no, Butler is not the answer. He's another bonehead.

I agree, but just saying a 4m dollar a year receiver will be inconsistent. T-Will is an inconsistent player, especially when it comes to his hands. He has made some good plays, especially against the Lions in the postseason of 14, which is why I did bring that up about him.

Funny thing is, even within that playoff game, he almost cost us the game. Right before he caught the game-winner, he let a perfect TD strike from Romo go through his hands. Romo actually had to throw TWO game-winning TDs to win that game. That pretty much sums up Romo’s career and exemplifies the inconsistency of Williams.

I think his ball placement is good but can be spotty at times. That TD pass to Dez last game was perfect. I also think of that pass to Butler for a TD against the Packers last year in Lambau was phenomenal.

He definitely has his moments.

True and I think we're only really saddled with him for next season due to his signing bonus.
Williams has always reminded me a bit of James Jones when he was with the Packers ( 1st stint). Not steady enough WR that you want him on the field 100% of plays, but bringing him in in subpackages, he can hurt a defense if they avoid him.

Key is getting a #2 that you can flex in and out of the slot.

When one of your starting WRs attempts to catch a football like an uncoordinated 7-year old...

Of course we still have those on the board that blamed Dak for this INT. #mattjames2010

TWill is a nonentity on offense.
The Bease is or should be No. 2 though he is our slot.
As for our No. 1, is Dez even among a top 10 NFL receiver? I would say No. 15. ... Eeeekkkk!!!!!!
ESPN has him at No. 31.

Why is that? Are you saying TG isn't as good as Twill?
Gosh no! Terry Glenn was better than any skill position player Dallas has had since TO. AND he is the best route runner Dallas has had in the super bowl era. His abity to get in and out of cuts without losing any speed is the best I have ever seen. Terrance Williams does not even see the field if Dallas was truly trying to win a super bowl. As a 3rd round pick he started as a rookie! And has started ever since. Which is my proof that Dallas is just looking for a warm body at WR2.

Hence why I said poor mans @bbailey423 lol... They are both gliders and can make that tip toe sideline catch, and Twill does run good routes like TG...

He's better than a Patrick Crayton.. or Kevin ogletree. For that you should be happy.

We didn't loose the game because of Twill. We lost the game because our defense plays like a big red exploding zit.

Free agency is a great truth teller.

When guys like TWill, Butler, Paea, Carroll, Thorton, etc sign for peanuts, it's the market sending a message they aren't very good.

ok folks

let's go ahead and lock every thread that isn't talking about the defense. we aren't about to talk about anything else since the defense lost the game.

Actually, the pass was worse than I originally thought. Still was catcheable though and we always knew TWill was a body catcher..
