I don't get that either. Honestly I like Dak as a leader and his character off the field is off the charts. I do have issues with his play more often than not but Dak failing (esp in the position we're in right now) helps no true DC Cowboy fan.

“Fanboy”? Uhhh... I wouldn’t say that. I have been watching football a long time. IMO— Dak is a 3rd year QB that has flaws for sure, but also upside.

Posting a 32-16 record in 3 years is impressive— despite the flaws. You don’t win that many games if you can’t play the QB position at all.

He is not as bad as the haters say he is— nor is he is as good as others make him out to be. And he is not done improving — I think he has done enough in 3 years to show he is a starting caliber QB in the NFL— but he needs to work on some flaws in order to optimize his game

Its a question not a statement. I don't count records as a QB stat. Its stupid and I don't care who on tv uses it its just stupid for people to parrot that junk as a QB stat period. Do people say Byron Jones has a 32-16 record or any other position so that why I can't let people hit me over the head with that bogus QB "stat". You can win that many games if the team around you is good which has been the case for Dak since he's been here not just by being some world beater QB. Try again on that front.

I agree with bold but when people make things slanted it usually shows what side they are on in a particular discussion hence why I asked you the question I did. If you would've said bold in the post I quoted I wouldn't even quoted you. You seem rationale and not an extremist on either side and I can always get with that lol.

It is about winning. Frankly I don't care if Dak throws for under 200 yards and it is Zeke having a big day. What I do care about is making the plays when you need them and of course produce in the redzone, be it by ground or air. In a playoff situation where winner moves on loser goes home winning is the only stat that matters.

That's true. Just used to talking to friends like this so I bring it online too. I guess IRL people don't take it as defensive and we just laugh about it so no I figure no big deal but that's my mistake.

I agree. Take all stats and throw them in trash because they mean nothing. We find out Saturday night who Dak is. Cousins also has bunch of big stats but he is last guy I want in big games. I don't see obvious weakness on Cowboys so I expect a win.

Seattle knows our defense very well because of Richard and they are going to follow the Giants strategy with run and short passing to wear our defense out. Dak will be sack smashed all day long. One and done for the Cowboys this year.
