The difference is that they coach in important games. Nearly every year. Garrett is not good enough to even get the shot. Please don't compare Payton and the GOAT to Jason Garrett.
You're right Sean Payton is horrible I should not compare him to Garrett. I've seen him screw up more than 1/2 x in the playoffs

Your right Payton has 1 SB vs none for Garrett, Payton clearly coached big in one important game where the won it all. Did not coach that great against the Cowboys last year but I take it that was not important. lol

Just think this isn't the first time they have had such an acclaimed designation in those 23 plus years. What a great 24 years it has been.
How often has the team that met this criteria won a SB in the next 3 seasons? It's my impression that at least half of the guys on a team won't be on it 3 years later.
