So they're well aware he's a moron?
whatever happens in this one incident i don't really care about. it does seem like "nothing" but zeke seems to have a way to make headlines with "nothing" and it's nothing good that can or will come out of it.

i was fine with the pick and still hope for the best. he's incredibly talented at rb. but he keeps getting in his own way with stupid actions like this that do *nothing* good for him.

What is this world coming to? We are worried about a player getting suspended for bumping in to a guy who looked like he feel because he tripped over the barrier, not from Zeke pushing him. Remember when Michael Irvin stabbed a guy in the neck? Remember when Ray Lewis probably killed some people? But now we are upset because someone pushed someone? This country...

First of all, he didn't "bump" into the guy. He got in his face and purposely body blocked him. It's not like randomly bumping into a guy at a restaurant or on the street. Trying to argue it's the same has been one of the more hilarious excuses made for Elliott.

The incident itself isn't awful, although there's nothing good about being crap faced drunk or high at 3AM and getting in a scrum that leads to you getting handcuffed and escorted out of a venue. However, it's another example of Elliott simply not showing any real sound judgment.

Elliott fans tend to try to look at each thing he does in a vacuum and then make excuses for him. The reality is this guy simply doesn't really show good judgment off the field and this video is yet another example.

The players of the past got too little attention for their off the field antics so the current ones get too much. Whether it's fair or not, that's the world for players today and Zeke has to recognize it. It's already cost him 6 games and could possibly end up being more.

You consider that a scrum? This isn't even an issue. If the barricade wasn't there that guy doesn't trip over it and fall and this is a non-issue. This isn't Crawford getting in a bar fight. This is Elliott talking to some guy and that guy falling down. He refused to press charges. I think he'll survive.

A scrum? LOL. Wow. guess you had some boring Saturday nights when you were young. Or, if you are young. Got some boring Saturday nights. Not many show good judgement at 3am, drunk off their butts. I don't have any excuse for him. He is a dumb kid. Hopefully he will grow out of it and stay out of these heinous scrums.

LOL. Change scrum to whatever word you want to. That word hardly changes the point. He knocked over a security guard, some people pulled him away, a few cops approached him, he got handcuffed and then led out of the venue because they didn't want him there anymore because of his behavior. Is that a better description for you?

He acted stupidly. For yet another time. To deny that is pretty funny at this point.

But I get it. Homers simply can't admit reality when that reality makes a Cowboys player not look so good.

Nah. Just could hold my liquor and not act like a total moron like Zeke seems to do more often than not.

Maybe that’s why they took off the cuffs.?.? Possibly the situation was explained as being no big deal.

The dude fell mostly because the barrier gave way. Zeke leaned on him. He didn’t elbow him. The guy already was falling and it was more of a forearm shiver attempt. Completely within the drunken rules of dealing with security.

Zeke clearly elbowed him it’s obvious in the video. They took the cuffs off him because the security guard refused to press charges because he called Zeke the N-word.

Wow really? And all Zeke did was bump him.
Pretty good restraint.

When did that come out and in what context? It still appears to me they were joking. What race was the guard?

He didn’t elbow him. He was already almost on the ground when his forearm came up. Of course, you’re feel to see it was you wish. I saw it differently.

Making contact to anyone in a threatening way whether it’s a bump or a shove is an assault. They weren’t joking with each other. Zeke wanted to get past the gate and the security guard wouldn’t let him. Zeke called him a ninja and began to walk away and the security guard called Zeke the N-word. All you have to do is analyze the YouTube video it’s all there. You’re admitting Zeke’s forearm came up. Forarming /elbowing...no difference! You always see things differently than me.

Didn't say anything about that.

Still seems like ya may have had some boring nights. Ain't a party til someone's passed out in the gutter and the cops show up.

He knocked someone down that’s an assault. His only defense would be that he was drunk and stumbled into the guy but It appeared he intentionally elbowed him knocking him down.
The security guard won't issue a complaint. Legally, Zeke is free, Bert.
Optically, for the NFL, its a problem.
Tony Pollard might be a godsend, dont you think, pedestrians?

What I had heard was that the security guard dropped the hard R on Zeke, and that short video we have looks to back that up.

Wouldn't blame Zeke at all if that was the case. Those are fighting words.
