I am wondering if I can holdout of my job, ask for higher raise, and not have to go thru all this training in the beginning of every year. She would probably laugh me right out of building.

If you didn’t show up on Monday would the company be significantly hindered? Are you top 5 in the country at what you do?

Not saying I agree with Zeke’s decisions but your analogy isn’t apples to apples.

Elite defense. Or near elite. And an above average QB. And above average WR's.

And this team has an elite O-line that any competent back could be successful running behind.
The bolded words kill your argument.

And what commitment to the Cowboys not honor? Hurns was given a 2.5 million signing bonus and 2.5 million base salary for 2018. He got his 5 million and the Cowboys cut him which is perfectly acceptable under the contract. I don’t recall anything in the contract stipulating that Cowboys had to keep him on the roster for a certain amount of time, do you? That’s why they get guaranteed money.
@birdwells1 still waiting on your answer to this?

Hopefully they work out an agreement that works for both sides. I think Zeke is a total ******* for holding out for all the stuff the cowboys organization has done for him through his troubles but he damn well knows the cowboys offense goes through him. I also believe Zeke is not the type of person that would miss games so him signing before week 1 was always in the books imo.

This could go either two ways for zeke:
If Pollard plays average or above average football it only hurts his negotiations in the long run
If Pollard struggles Jerry will eventually fold and pay him

However...

If zeke holds out it could hurt his boy Dak:
If Dak struggles without Zeke it's going to hurt his asking price greatly
If dak plays great without zeke well Dak is going to continue to ask for the world and Jerry will overpay
