I have a hard time seeing us making this deal if the dolphins are asking for something significant. More likely the team is just doing their due diligence.

What's it going to be then, eh?

These trade hysteria events really amuse me.

There is an incredible amount of excitement at first.

Then, the reality hits that well, we really do like our guys.

Quote from Broadus about maybe another potential deal.

“I think they would shoot for a five [fifth-round draft pick] right now, I really do. I don’t think there’s a, you know, you’re going to get a whole lot of value there,” in-house Cowboys reporter Bryan Broaddus said earlier this week, via Blogging The Boys. “I know there’s a team that they’re talking to, I don’t want to get into the team because I don’t want to hurt their chances with the team. But there’s a team they’re talking to about another player on that team at a position that can help them.”

Broaddus has a track record of being wrong way more often than not.

About 1 out of 100 things he "foresees" is something that he heard from coaches/management.

He was either going to say 5th or 4th round pick. A 3rd is a premium pick and he was not going to guess that high.

Would you (fans here) do this trade:

Taco and our 1st

for

Minkah and their 2nd

?

Actually this isn't bad.........especially if we're picking in the bottom 6 and they're top 3. We would have Jones, Brown or Heath replacement on the roster a year early.

It was the opposite with Cooper, at least for me.

I didn't take the initial rumors are suggestions seriously and then boom, they made the trade.

They spent the weekend reviewing all aspects of Cooper and the ramifications of a trade and then told the Raiders on a Monday they wanted to do a deal.

The MFitz talk should either fade or ramp up next Monday...

The Dolphins will ask for the moon. What they will really take is another story.

If the Cowboys are involved it could either drive other teams away if they assume the Cowboys will out bid them or it could drive some team like the Eagles to over-pay to keep the player away from the Cowboys.
