Probably got a good reference from their buddy Nick Saban.
I would imagine, just testing the waters to see what they want for him.
I wouldn’t get excited over this yet.
..whats the tally on Minkah Fitzpatrick? Havent heard of the guy. Glad its the safety position.
I’m sure all of the GM’s that think he would improve their secondary have contacted the Dolphins. It’s kinda their job.
We can afford him so lets get him!!!
Now this is officially interesting. Minkah is 6'1" and fits Richard's profile.
Why are the Dolphins letting an 11th pick go? Taco syndrome?
The current coaching staff doesn’t know what to do with him. Why? I don’t know lol
But they’ve asked him to play 6! Yes, 6 different positions this year including linebacker
Can't get any more vague than this.
Yes but it kinda sounds like Dolphins called them rather than the other way around, which would be interesting if true.
I was going to say probably doing their due diligence and offering them taco and a 6th lol
If Dallas did pull the trigger on this trade who on roster does it impact? Donavan Wilson future status? Lewis?
Miami will have no urgency to move the guy...and will ask for the moon.
Could also be a bidding war... I've been hearing the Saints, Chiefs, Eagles and Steelers are interested and I'm sure there'd be other teams.
I saw Dolphins are looking for a 1st rd pick, no way do I think Dallas should give up a 1st or 2nd for Fitzpatrick
It's not news untill Dallas makes an offer.
I only hope the Jones boys don't micromanage themselves into a bad situation/player as they've been known to do, especially just when we're starting to roll. I've never heard of this guy and also wonder why the Dolphins want to ditch him.
The extent was Miami may have reached out and got the ol' "we like what we have".
The Dolphins need to tell Minkak to pack an extra big suitcase when the Dolphins travel to Texas in week 3 because he is staying with us. Not for a first unless they will settle for Taco as a first, that's what we gave up for him.
