I'll add it to the list of dumb things you choose to think, and insist on saying out loud, Roy.

Nothing can compare to your stupid loyalty to Garrett. LOL

You're not Your....……..DUH!!!!!

That's right folks - Jason has this team rolling on all cylinders coming out of the gate. Say what you want about him but players seem to really enjoy playing for him, he's involved in personnel decisions and has helped build this team, he seems to really have the respect of all of the players on the team, and they stay out of trouble for the most part. Also, I'm sure he had a big say-so in the Kellen Moore, Kris Richardson, and John Kitna hires.

It's time we give him a little credit!
Jason Garrett has not been as advertised. He does not have final roster control, he is not innovative, he is not good at personnel decisions pre-Will McClay, he keeps making dumbo decisions (i.e. attend base ball game when team is 3-5), has 4 winning seasons in 8 seasons as Head Coach and has a playoff record 2-3.

In contrast Mike McCarthy who is sitting at home eaten stale Greenbay cheespuffs had 7 winning seasons in 9 years, a Super Bowl and playoff record of 10-8.

Who got the props? Garrett gets gets no props.

.
Ok. So, why is that all on him?
Because he put no accountability on himself.
If he really wanted accountability he would have fired himself during the Geen Bay Massacre of 2010- but really much sooner than that.

They gave up the second most sacks in the NFL last year, is that what they were the best at?

We had one healthy starter last year and Collins was completely inconsistent because of the technique changes from Paul Alexander.
EXACTLY!
Once again the Cowboys had the best line in the NFL and Garrett wasted it.

There you have it. The complaints have moved from "Garrett can't win" to "He can't make the playoffs" to "He can't win a playoff game" to "He hasn't won a Super Bowl" and now the winner - "Even if he wins a Super Bowl, he still sucks".
Yep. He should've been gone in 2008.

Uh, 13-3 in 2014. Exited playoffs before NFC Championship Game. 13-3 in 2016. Exited playoffs before NFC Championship Game.
Exactly what props does Garrett deserve?
He's been at 2-0 before. We know how that turned out.
Garrett needs to get to the NFC Championship before we hand out props. With this talented roster, that's the LEAST he should reach before we started patting him on the back and clapping hands in approval.

I think what Stephen has done for garrett is put him in a position to win. through the acquisition of talented players and by firing poor assistants and bringing in more competent ones. garrett is still jerry's pet cat. I doubt he is Stephen's.

We were ranked in the top 5 or 10 all of last year until the rams playoff game. We played good offenses and shut them down. The saints game wasn't a fluke to me. But something is wrong somewhere, I don't think they were as good as they were ranked last year. I don't know if our Defense is playing down to teams or what. I know the rams said they could tell from film when they were going to stunt. Maybe the film came out and everyone knows it now. I watched them stunt yesterday and it was bad. When you run between the tackles when we are stunting then it catches then out of position and the LB aren't filling the gaps which is a very big surprise to me after last year. Its putting a lot of pressure on our secondary..
glim--what the heck is wrong with our linebackers?....something is a amiss....maybe a couple plays they have made but not the pro bowlers they were last year....and i hope its start of season not Jelling yet stuff

Here is why I have trouble giving credit...they’ve spent 8-9 years reshuffling the deck snd surrounding him with a near perfect situation. I’m not even sure what he does now with a real O coordinator etc. Seriously what is is skill set now?

I don’t dislike Jason. I just think Jerry snd the FO deserve credit for almost making this team JG proof

Fascinating to see all the wriggling and justifying to simply avoid admitting the obvious.

At some point it just gets ridiculous. We’re nearing that point already.

I agree. At some point you have to admit that Garrett was a bad OC and a suspect HC and the team continues to get better and better the further he gets away from the offense and game day management.
