Somebody refresh my memory but wasn’t Henry looking like a bust his first year and a half? 2016 success doesn’t happen with Henry in the backfield...

Am I wrong?

we'll never know, but the idea a Heisman Trophy RB out of Bama couldn't produce behind the 2016 OL is rather weird

In any statistical study with the two subjects being so new you'd heavily weight their most recent performance right?

And imagine someone thinking someone's last 500 carries was cherry picking. Amazing.
That is because over the same period of time one first 500 is also his most recent 500. Henry had 215 carries last year as the "Lead" back for the Titians

Henry has 552 career rushing attempts. Using Henry's last 500 carries is basically using his entire career compared to only using a portion of Elliott's career. That is not an equal comparison.

It would be interesting to see their first 500 carries side by side, and not the last 500 carries.

He's not a generational talent. He's a very, very good TB.

But he's not a generational type guy. Randy Moss............ that's a generational type talent.......... a guy with such unique skill sets - Moss' size, speed, wingspan, etc............ You could argue Moss was one the greatest physical talents to ever play in the NFL, at any position.

There is nothing unique or special about Elliott. He's just a really, really, really good TB.

At least that's how I define generational talent.

If you aren't even indisputably the best at your position, you can't possibly be a generational talent. That phrase is so misused.

AP? Yes
Zeke? Are you kidding me?

The last 500 carries gives a much better representation of the level of player they are currently.

I can't come up with anything you can draw from the two players first 500 carries.

How about this in the last 500 carries Zeke has run a rushing title and Henry does not.

He's nit picking touchdowns. It's just stupid...sorry dude Dak Prescott is a way better QB than Mariota. Meaning more TDs for the QB and less for the RB...

He's not even nit picking TDs, he gives the full stat lines. Sorry dude, better QBs mean more scoring opportunities, meaning more TDs for the RB.

Hey I'm going to nitpick your post because everyone loves that, right? My mom says that's the best way to make friends.

I agree Zeke's not a generational talent, but I don't think you have to be the undisputed best at your position to be a generational talent.

Like you say, AP undoubtedly was a generational talent, but various points in his career he wasn't the undisputed best at his position.

And think if Henry got that same volume? He'd have done the same thing, just with wayyyy more TDs.

Moving the goal posts. You stated it’s a better representation of the 2 players, and you’re right Zeke has a rushing title and Henry does not.
