He didn't want to put in the work and listen to the coaches so they got rid of him. What he does after is just that...after his behavior here. Had he wanted to, he could have stayed if he changed his behavior....so no..no regrets.

I thought they cut bait too soon on Charlton, but if Rod wants him gone...he gone.

Not only did he suck, but he had a horrible attitude to boot.

If you couldn't tell how bad he was by watching him play here for 3 years then you might have gotten a clue by the fact that NO TEAM IN THE NFL would even give the Cowboys a 7th round pick for him.

He is on a team now where they have gotten rid of ANYONE that was any good and he doesn't even have to earn playing time.

So every once in a while the competing Oline will leave him unblocked and he may get lucky. That's about the ONLY time he ever got a sack here.

He showed talent in the pre-season too. I know there is a balance these coaches face headache vs talent but it seems we really could use more talent. if the locker room leaders are strong, guys like taco won't have much of a voice. would be a good backup.

I agree, I wouldn't have given up on him so soon but this organization will not put up with players that are immature or unreliable.
In totally unrelated news how is Randy Gregory doing?

Another game, another sack for MIA. Still think we cut bait too early because of a personality conflict with Rod. Need to lessen Rod’s influence on personnel.
Not necessarily. I have seen a lot of players with attitude issues and other team compatibility problems get cut and succeed with other teams. That, or ball out for a while until the personal issues kick back in later. But, their new success would not translate back to success if they went back to the other team. Team chemistry between players and/or staff is a crucial thing. TO was a hell of a football talent but that was it - no talent for statesmanship or team building.

DLaw was very critical of Taco in 2 interviews that I saw.

DLaw praised the work ethic of DE Armstrong while basically saying that Taco didn't have a good work ethic and didn't always play hard.
Now, that carries some weight.

the same stupid thing: I divorce her because she is a big baby and has quit on her family--she remarries and seems happy. I wish she were back.

I thought he had been good? that is what they we're saying on NFL network.

I watched all of his snaps in this weeks game and he looked the same as with the Cowboys.

OK but often lackadaisical.
