More fun to watch Dez or Cooper?

There is too much recency bias here. People have forgotten Dez in 2012-14. Fans cry all the time about his route running or whatever, and he was STILL uncoverable.

Amari is a tactician, and is elite at it. But there's no way that's a more exciting brand of football than what Dez played.

DBs were helpless against Dez, they couldn't win. That's not true for Amari. It's like comparing pitchers....say Greg Maddox vs. Randy Johnson. If you had your stuff, you could guess right and hit Maddox. That wasn't true for Randy Johnson, because he could just overpower you.

My vote is Cooper. Dez had the more spectacular catches and was probably better in the open field and fighting for yards. But Cooper's route running, speed, homerun ability is more impressive. Both were very fun to watch though.

Leaving the game before it's over wasn't very exciting to me.

I love both WR’s and I think they are both great with very different styles of play. It’s honestly super close for me, curious to see what y’all think

More fun to watch, 88 or 19?

It's fun to watch your guy winning contested catches but I'm not a big fan of putting up 50/50 balls to begin with,,, give me the guy that gets himself open consistently and wins it running away.

Is this a real question? Amari by a landslide.....I expected Dez to drop the ball more often than catch it.

when Dez was on, it was thrilling. The circus catches, the pure strength. Love Coop and he is electrifying but Dez

Maybe coop when he puts B2B amazing seasons together like Dez I mean for 3plus years Dez was top 5 WR and he put up 75 Tds in short Period.. Coop might be able to do that soon but where it stands Dez was dominate..and no they were not all jump ballz.. jeez the memorys are short here..he didnt put up 3 seasons of 1400 yards and 10plus tds all by 50/50 balls.smh

That depends on if you are watching highlights or if you are watching all snaps in the games on the coaches film.

Dez had great highlights but watching him on the coaches film was painful.
- His route running was horrible and completely unpredictable.
- He probably broke the Cowboys record for dumb decisions by a player on the field.

Cooper is as good as it gets with regards to watching the coaches film.
- He is a master route runner both in terms of the mental and physical side of it.
- His ability to change directions is as good as it gets for a WR his size.
- He can literally change directions better at 6-1, 212 than Beasley at 5-8, 175.

Cooper is more fun to watch he beats defenders with speed and precise route running and runs away from them for scores. Dez became frustrating to watch with his inability to separate and allowing defenders to get in his head.

Dez relied on 50-50 battles due to his inability to separate. He won a lot of them earlier in his career but wasn’t coming down with nearly as many of them the last couple of years of his career. He was known primarily for jump balls which is the main reason him and Dak didn’t click. Dak needs receivers who can get open and are disciplined route runners.

Cooper is fun to watch in YAC. Dez was fun watching for contested balls with Romo putting it up there for him.

I love watching both guys for different reasons.

Both for different reasons. They’re different types of WRs.

Dez just out manlied everybody. That was his game. He was a raw, physical specimen.

Cooper is refined. His career will last longer. He’s a better route runner.

It’s like asking if I want a double bacon cheeseburger or a filet mignon. The mignon is “better”, but damn if I don’t want a cheeseburger every once in a while.

Gotta go with Dez on this one. He was my favourite player for a long time. His ability to throw CB's off of him was insane. I love Cooper but if I am asked more exciting player? Its Dez and its not even close and I know my buddy @WillieBeamen will appreciate me saying this lol.
