It looked to me that if Zeke had cut up field in the middle, he'd have gotten the first down.

I havent looked but i would just about 100% guarantee that was when fredbeard got so ticked off and said something to the sidelines.

Bad play call but worse blocking attempt by 72. These players have no accountability. 72 should shut up and block.
Somehow, someway - @AmariChill is turning me over to his dark side...
What if his All-Seeing-Gut is right?
He's like 3rd on some thing here that's kept up by @DandyDon52 and that's also got to count for something...

Serious man?
So Zeke is now to blame for expecting 2 blockers to pick up 1 guy lined up right in front of both of them.

This offensive line needs to stop sniff their own farts and get back to earning the reputation they have.

I am serious. Watch the play and tell me if you think he could've turned up field sooner and gone between blockers. I'm sure Barkley could've.

They couldn't adjust to the alignments at some point during the game?
They did; or more precisely, they didn't need to. They put up 400 yards and 24 first downs. They had zero three-and-outs. Their last 5 real drives were TD, TD, TD, FG, and the 80-yard drive that ended with the turnover on downs.

The problem wasn't anything the defense was doing. It was entirely the cowardly philosophy on offense. The first 3 drives all ended between the Minnesota 39 and 48 yard lines, all of them because Garrett was too gutless to go for it on on 4th-and-4 to 4th-and-6. And I'm convinced they called the running plays on the last drive to try not to score "too fast," never mind they needed the TD. Those decisions had nothing to do with Minnesota's alignments.

i don't mean no harm but on a play like that being how far the DT was from frederick you would of though connor would of atleast blocked the DT into frederick for a split second and then get to the second level.

Let's see Joe Looney and Xavier Sua' Filo probably can get it done...

This O-Line has been Overrated for a long time....looks like Paul Alexander sniffed the stinky pamper initially and got fired

I think he should have did a backflip first though.
You see if it were Barkley he would have started with a backflip and then triple jumped the defenders.

Are we talking about the same Barkley that just gained 1 yard on like 16 carries?

I love Whitten but he should be short yardage only.
I love Colombo but he should begin in HS coaching.
I love Red but......actually I don't I want to vomit every time I see him sanding there on the sidelines contemplating if he needs a BM at the half. Because he sure ain't coaching.

This also. IDK why jerry jones a guy who can spend unlimited amount of money at the coaching positions go with guys like colombo, moore. I mean these are guys learning on the job.

“..not prepared for...”

Sounds like a backhanded comment toward the coaching staff. This team is held back by not lack of talent but something else......

maybe show a little patience and cut to the right of Fredrick? I don't think Barr gets there until Zeke has the 1st down
Here is the answer from Schwartz.

His angle doesn’t allow that to happen quickly. And you have to run the track of the run to set up blocks

In other words this is on Connor Williams and Frederick. Mostly Williams.

You think its a coincidence both seasons when the coaches had enough of watching Connor Williams suck he comes up with a mystery injury.
Just man up and bench the dude. It wouldn't surprise me if Frederick, Zeke and a few of these guys got on the coaches about this guy.

Yeah, going off the deep end really makes you look right. It looks like he had a much better chance of gaining a first down between Zach and Travis than he did trying to go around the end.

I agree it's on the o-line but it does look like Zeke could cut back behind Fredrick to this untrained eye. I had the same thought with the Conner Williams injury.

I really think this is the reason you don't want an OC without experience. Moore and JG pissed away the game.
