Exactly... a lot of people in this thread don't understand the basic premise of a HYPOTHETICAL question.

It's not a real scenario, so you can't just "take the money and fake it."

It's a hypothetical... so in the hypothetical situation, how much money would it take to get you to really and sincerely change your affections?

It's like "Who would you do... Ginger or Mary Ann?" Your answer can't be "both" -- you have to choose... money or your team.

It's hypothetical so we can answer how we want.

Listen here young man, I will rob little danny of his money and still be a Cowboys fan if I want to be.

Now...don't make me take my belt off....cause I might lose my pants.:laugh1:

Lovie had the money. Plus she was dingy.

I could get the money and have her hire Mary Ann to cook and Ginger to be a maid.

Honestly, I'd say Ginger.

Plus tree-fitty.

Yeah, that MaryAnn would never let us get to first base.
Ginger would take us everywhere and beyond.:D

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

It's a beautiful day.

For a klondike bar, I think I could do the Skipper.

What are we talking about?

Ginger was a tease, Mary Ann was a wild one in waiting.

The spirit of the question has been lost here, me thinks. How much would it take to buy you off?

You make X number of dollars per preseason Commander win, 10X per regular season win, 50X per playoff win, 200X per Superbowl win.

If X =1, you would win $364 on an undefeated Commander season.

Me, I know that I got a number. Off the top of my head, I know it's higher than 1 and lower than 100.

But that's just me.

So, for you all, X = ?

Good analogy, I would also add you must calculate how much time you already have invested in the Cowboys. Now an old guy like myself would not gain as much on a life time like a youngerster would.

I was bought once as a fan, but it was my 1st NASCAR race and I didn't have a driver that I rooted for yet. Summer 2000 in New Hampshire. I joined a pool, my driver won, so he's been my driver ever since. I know its much different because I didn't switch teams for the money.

The ironic thing which I did not know at the time was that my driver, Tony Stewart, belongs to the Gibbs team. Thats been a little hard to deal with, but Tony did win ($$$$) my loyalty. Plus he snowmobiles in Old Forge, NY...I do also root for the DLP (Roger and Troy had Gibbs build thier cars, go figure) team, but the other Tony is a crasher.
