$1 million to root for the Redsk*ns?

You bet I'd take the $1M and run straight to the bank. I'd be cheering for the Commanders like crazy and under my breathe I'd be rooting for the Cowboys and every other team in the NFL to cream the Commanders. In order words, Skins would be buying my voice but no money buys my loyalty.

May as well practice, just in case. Here it goes....Hell with the Commanders, hell with victory hell with the Commanders I root for old D.C. :lmao2:

What would any of you do if your Son or another close family member was drafted by the Skins?

That song never sounded better to me.

I would be torn. I can admit that. If I hadn't got hurt and had made the NFL, but for another team, I'd have been just as torn. I honestly don't know what I would do.

Heck for a million dollars I would be wearing a Jason Campbell jersey tomorrow. Of coarse Im a Denver Nugget fan so I already know what its like to root for a crappy team. :laugh1:

who is that in ur avatar?thats crazy.

It's former Skins punter Bryan Barker after Roy Williams gave him a "facelift" during the Thanksgiving game a couple years back. :D

Barker was holding on a field goal and the snap was botched or there was a block or something like that, and in the ensuing scramble, Roy's knee hit Barker's helmet. Barker wore one of those crazy open faced face guards and Roy's knee caught him square in the schnoz, giving him quite the "pig nose."

I'd say about tree-fitty. Me and the Loch Ness Monster could get some sweet swag.

I loved that skit.

I actually still have that game on tape. If I weren't such a video dunce, I'd put that play up on YouTube sometime. :D

I would take the one mil and blow it on women then tell Snyder to **** off.

Back in 1987 I found myself rooting for the Commanders once they were in the Super Bowl.

Doug Williams was a nice story. That Super Bowl was one of the more entertaining one-sided non-Cowboys games that I had seen up until then.

And they had one thing going for them too - at least they weren't the 49ers.

you gave that monster 3.50...now hes gonna come back and ask for 4.50

My son is a freshman in college, and my daughter just got accepted to study Opera as a voice major at Manhattan School of Music. JMU is about 14,000 a year, and the music school is 30,000 just for tuition...let's not forget I'm a high school English teacher.

So, under the circumstances, I guess I'd do it for whatever cash I could get, but it would never be real...it would all be fake and contrived. You can't really purchase a fan or a loyal follower. Deep down I'd always be a Cowboy, just faking it for those paying me....but make no mistake...I would fake it for the cash right now :D

I was going to reply very similiarily to yours WM. At minimum, I would do it for the cost of a 4-year private college education x 2 (for each of my boys). If there is anything that keeps me up at night is, will I save up enough to cover that cost. But like you said, I would root for them but deep down it wouldn't be genuine.
