Hyder is the guy from Detroit but you can't cut Hill lol. he's our 2nd round pick from just this year. that's stupid.i'd cull Crawford. not much in the tank. and i'm confused between hill and hyder. the guy we got from Detroit i'd keep. not the other one.
Keep Jackson and Jelks and cut Crawford and CharltonReplace Quinn with Jackson the first two weeks, then when Quinn cons back make a decision between Covington and Jackson.
We can probably sneak Wise onto the PS, but Jelks will get picked up unfortunately
Excellent post as usual.
Jenks and Wise will be on active NFL rosters this year but possibly not before week 3.
DAL values those quality rookie contract guys so I can definitely see Taco being trade bait.
Crawford has finaly become a value contract after 3-4 years so dont see him at any risk.
He is the guy DLaw points to as his mentor BTW.
1. Tank
2. Quinn
3. Taco
4. Armstrong
5. Crawford
6. Woods
7. Collins
8. Covington
9. Hill
10. Hyder
Hoping to get Jackson, Jelks and Wise to the PS
so who's Rod's game day 8? and who gets traded when Randy returns?
I look at as
3 DTs, Collins, Hill, Woods
3 DEs, Lawrence, Quinn, Charlton
2 DLs, Crawford, Covington
probably, at some point Randy is in and Quinn out (age), if Taco doesn't implode
and Armstrong makes the 53. no thoughts on Hyder, need to see more snaps
I'd go 9 on game day ... but they don't listen to me
note, Covington could prove very effective in rotation - a bigger faster version of Crawford.
I honestly think D3 with Collins and Covington can become a dominant position on this D, that is major
even Rod and JJ can learn
I'm always bothered when Crawford is referred to as a "starter". It's simply semantics and wordplay.
He's a "starter" in name only, and anyone being honest knows that.
And no, I am not referring to you personally here so please don't take it that way.
It's just seeing that term associated with the player is aggravating.
Crawford played more snaps than anyone on the DL except Lawrence. He's a starter.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/dal/2018-snap-counts.htm
He's not starting quality. It doesn't matter how many snaps he played.
Unless you're OK with your "starter" at RDE getting zero sacks there for the last two years?
Are you?
Good thing he had 5.5 sacks at 3 tech!
Yeah, just make sure you stunt all day to free him up for a free run! Because that's how he got any of them. The same stunts that the Rams keyed on and killed the team with.
I dont think the other NFL teams are impressed.1. Tank
2. Quinn
3. Taco
4. Armstrong
5. Crawford
6. Woods
7. Collins
8. Covington
9. Hill
10. Hyder
Hoping to get Jackson, Jelks and Wise to the PS
He actually got some sacks setting up stunts for other players, lol. Getting a sack as the pick man ain't easy.

Going back thru some game film right now to look at his other sacks...
ROFL duude just just you just really use the word facts???No. You just don’t like the FACTS about the situation presented to you.
I’m sorry if the truth hurts. I truly am.
If they cut Crawford, then for game 3 to 16 with Quinn:
Without Crawford, the DEs would be:
DLaw: Starting LDE
Taco: Started the first 7 games last season.
Hyder: Can also play DT in pass rush situations.
Armstrong
DT
M.Collins: Starting 3-tech
Woods: Starting 1-tech
Hill: Rotational 3-tech
Covington: Backup/Rotational 1-tech & 3-tech
DE Snaps:
LDE: DLaw 70%
LDE: Hyder 20%
LDE: Armstong 10%
RDE: Quinn (game 3 to 16): 50%
RDE: Taco 30%
RDE: Armstrong 20%
DT Snaps
Starting 1-tech: Woods 65%
Second 1-tech: Covington 25%
Snaps with second 3-tech replacing 1-tech: Hyder 10%
Starting 3-tech: Collins 65%
Second 3-tech: Hill 35%
Is this team looking to cut quality vets this year as they chase a SB? Nope.
We really need Armstrong or Taco to have a breakout season.
ROFL duude just just you just really use the word facts???
You haven't utterted a single fact yet, some mistruths yes....
Plus you are intellectually dishonest which means you spit nonsense ina way that is essentially a lie.
TCraw was a 3T most of last season because that's where he was needed.
In prior seasons he's been at DE because that's where he was needed.
Whatever position they put him in he plays, starts and plays hard.
And gets pressure and sacks.
Crying about sacks at RE last year when he seldom played there is well the kind of nonsense you do.
There was a time a couple years ago where injuries were sapping him of meaningful game time and he was paid in the top handful of DL so was overpaid and underperforming.
Almost every Cowboys fan wanted him cut.
But he's played hurt, produced and seen a lot of other DL get paid way more than him in the past couple seasons.
Is he in this team's plans 3 seasons from now? Likely not.
