I don't have an agenda, I defended Newman for years because he is one of my favorite players. My cousin said that he was done I said that he wasn't, I had to call him and tell him he's right. We are hoping so much that this Romo thing works out that we are grading him on a curve against his prior years performance when he should be graded like any other top 10 qb. Again 12-21-163 1td if that stat line is good enough for you then our expectations have really been lowered, that's all I'm saying.

Away from that I do think, and I said this earlier in the post, that we need more speed on the outside (a wow player) and that our wr struggle against man to man coverage. We don't stretch the field, when was the last time we completed a bomb, I can't remember.

that there is a fair response, although your qb stats are a little skewed because that drive at the end was still very important for SD to stop because there was still enough time on the clock to do something, so Romo's stats was 19 of 30 for 249 yards and 2 tds no int's. when a RB breaks off a good run, do you subtract that run to calculate that RB's stats? no

other than that, i do agree with our need to spread this offense out a little bit and take it downfield more often. This should be on Jason Garrett and the coaching staff to figure out where the problem lies. Although I am not sold on a need to have that ONE #1 WR, I would not be disappointed at all if we made a move for a top guy by draft or FA.

I think more important needs for our offense is the Oline. Flozell needs replaced or atleast rotated more often. Our LG is a tad small and gets overwhelmed at times and frankly our OL depth is thin.

I am thinking we need to be more versatile with our RBs, play more Felix and Choice with MBIII being a closer.

And JG should call more rollouts for Romo.

That was Romo's stats before the final drive. Last week he was lights out and his performance was certainly good enough for the Cowboys to win. Against the Chargers his performance contributed to the loss. Twelve completions out of 21 attempts for 163 yards and 1 TD is not going to cut it.

And if Shankapotamus hits that FG, the game is going into overtime.

And if T-Toast doesnt get burned on that 3rd and 12, Gates never scores.

And if Barber extends his arms at the goalline, we win by 4.

And if our receivers could get seperation, they would have more catches.

And if our o-line blocked once in a while, our QB would have better #s.

And if my Grandma had balls, she would be my Grandpa.

We can play the "what if" game all day if you want to.

Get real.

What exactly about that isn't real? Did he not get them in the endzone? Did it not give them a chance for an onside kick and there for a shot to tie or win a ball game?

It's not the ideal situation, by any means, but I'd take having a shot over having absolutely no shot at all.

But hey if its better for you and your life to hate Romo, to think he sucks, and to piss and moan about him for whatever reason you have then by all means stick with it. I couldn't care less what gets you through the day.

Really Buffalo, Detroit, Cardinals and the Ravens!! Come on if you really liked those come from behind wins then you are very easy to please. The Cowboys should blow out those teams. With the exception of the Ravens which has never had a real QB all the good and great teams destroy the weaker teams.

Ravens made the AFC title game last year so it's not like it was against a chump team that he gave them a shot to win.

Cards went to the Superbowl last year so I don't believe they qualify as weaker team.
