Hard to believe. I was sitting here this morning, on vacation, looking through my 2009 Cowboys Annual, when I remembered.... 13 years since the DALLAS COWBOYS, America's Team, won a playoff game.

It is ridiculous. It is sad. I am guessing it is the longest stretch in Cowboys history.

I was thinking about it as I read criticisms of the Giants for signing Eli Manning (or about to sign) to the big contract.

Who are we to criticize anyone right now? The Giants won a Super Bowl with that QB at the helm not too long ago. The freaking Cardinals have gone to a Super Bowl since we last won a playoff game. The CARDINALS. One of the most embarrassing football franchises ever to exist.

This has to be our year. Its been long enough. Its time for the Dallas Cowboys to be the Dallas Cowboys again. Not just another team, but a playoff winning team.

Never mind that.

How do you like my new stadium?

Jerry Jones is certainly culpable for our current Playoff Drought. However, the moment Bill Parcells was hired, I believe is when you have to shift blame to the coaching staff and the players.

Especially the last few years.

One of the funniest reply's I have ever seen on this site....

I must add though, Jerry does want to win. Make no mistake about that.

But for those who wonder why people give Jimmy credit for the 90's and Jerry credit for what has been after, it is because since 1996, the Cowboys have not been playoff successful.

Whoever you want to give 89-96 credit to, some say Jerry and Jimmy, some say Jimmy with Jerry writing the checks, since that time someone has lost his touch.

Jerry wants to win with Jerry in control of football matters. If you could promise Jerry a Super Bowl win, GUARANTEE IT, but it meant he had to resign as GM and hire someone else, I truly believe he would refuse to do it. So, I do believe he wants to win, but only in a scenario where he gets the credit.

This is exactly what I needed -- another reminder that we haven't won a playoff game in a long time.

Well you believe all sorts of irrational things, so this isn't surprising.

let it go, repeating it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over does nothing but get really old and tiresome.

way too many of you are fixated on the negatives, it's not healthy.

the worst part of it is, if we won this season, a ton of you would say it was in spite of jerry.

what have the cowboys given anyone to be positive about in the last 8-9 months?

It has been awhile no doubt.

Nothing can be done to change what has happened so I only concern myself of what we will do this year.

Getting rid of T.O. and a new stadium.

Life is grand.

not being the broncos, not being the lions, not being the bengals, not being the 49ers, not being the seahawks, not being the...

31 teams don't win it all every year, it's as much luck as anything else.

crying about it and playing the blame game is tired and it comes off as really annoying.

the fans here expect too much, and then blame the team for their own ridiculous expectations.
