Because they hide among the masses until they're ready to strike.
Sometimes innocent people pay the ultimate price. Time to carpet bomb.

Sad. So sad.Why always in France though?
Sometimes innocent people pay the ultimate price. Time to carpet bomb.
Where in France does the carpet bombing start?
War is not waged on innocent civilians. These are Savage and cowardly acts.
They don't want an actual war, because they know they don't stand a chance.
Ironic that they believe so deeply yet don't believe their God would will them to victory in a real war.
They wanted the full attention of the world and now they've gotten it by making enemies in all the wrong places (France, US, and even Russia).
They've ensured the demise of their existence, now.
Glass the *******s.
So we dismantle these people's countries, governments and homes, and we still get upset when they fight back? wow.
There is a reason the countries in the area have strong dictators that rule them, thats whats needed to keep these morons at bay. Saddam kept Iran, ISIS/AlQada at bay. But you know, it was best to take him out. Gaddafi, etc. etc. smh. People wont learn. Just rinse and repeat.

I may be going on a limb here but usually when a country/government lose the war they usually just quit and dissolve.
When the ***** lost ww2 **** Germany was dismantled and they did not (as far as I am aware of) continue operations to attack innocent people or work "under the radar". They took the loss and rebuilt with a lot of debt they had to pay as a result of losing the war.
This hasn't been the case with these Islamic groups. As someone had mentioned before Isis had lost in 2004 but they did not dissolve and just continued with business as usual.

As interesting and pertinent as these reflections are, let's not turn this thread into a debate over US policy in the Middle East out of respect for the victims and forum guidelines.
This has been going on before there was even a US, let alone an state of Israel.
No doubt our unsophisticated, bludgeoning approach at times has only made it worse....but anyone who thinks US or Euro policies in the middle east is the main driver does not know history.
Islamic Jihadists have no desire to sit at home and passively live their lives according to their twisted idea of religion.
In stark contrast to others, they feel the entire world should convert or be killed. Period.
I do think it will have to be the people from that area of the world that oppose those view--which is the vast majority--to finally stand up and fight the extremists. They will need help from the rest of the world, but they need to do it. Outsider boots on the ground will never be the final answer. If anything, it make things worse long term. imo
