I have one.
Rod Marinelli.
Completely out coached and unprepared after last week.
We'll have the two McClains, Gregory, and Hardy back Week 7 against the Giants. It'll be a whole different defense.
I know it gets confusing, but Terrell McClain is out for the year. We should have Hardy and Gregory back for game 5 and Mincey whenever he can pass the concussion protocol.
Maybe he was reading his press clippings all week!
Too much talent and speed on this defense to give up that many points, even with the injuries. Weeden thru a pick, but it wasn't a pick 6. U score 28, u should win
He might not have, but a bunch of our fringe defenders might have.
When Lee went out for a spell, they could not hold it together.
If by the end of the day you mean the first half, then yes
No. Blame Weeden. It will make you be better able to grasp the fact that Marinelli got exposed by Shanahan's kid in a major way.
What happened was a well-oiled offense destroyed an injury plagued defense. Our team punched in above their paygrade the first half, but the game took a predictable turn as it went on. If Atlanta lost against a team missing its best WR, QB, CB, passrushers, and one of its best linemen, then that's a serious problem on their part.
Realistically, our lack of talent caught up to us.

Exactly.
You can only blame one person for the loss. That's the rule.
And Weeden played fantastic today. It was part of the game plan to only manage like 50 yards of offense in a 2nd half.
He's never been a good DC here. His junk defense was just propped up by our running game domination last year and it kept off the field more than usual. He never makes any adjustments at all and we never seem to ever press. And refuse to blitz.
I wouldn't say fantastic, but he played okay save the one mistake.
And if that is something that just results in an avalanche of momentum on the rest of your team, then you are soft and you are not a top notch football team.
So much for rallying around the weak.
It was like we gave up after that play.
