I think you're just about right as far as where the Brown's pick will be. However, how can you even think about Ellis when Glen Dorsey of LSU is bigger, quicker, and more dominating. In fact, you don't even have Dorsey going in the 1st round. I doubt he makes it out of the top ten.

Secondly, the Cowboys will be picking MUCH later in the round-say #32  . Even at that pick, I think that a WR like Early Doucet, LSU, might slip down far enough for us to grab. Doucet has one of the best combinations of speed, size, & play-making skills of the senior crop of receivers. Either that, or we switch, & get a top WR with the Browns' pick, then take the best DT available. As good as Dorsey is, and with the super crop of WRs next year, I would stick with taking Dorsey first. The middle of either line is the backbone, and Jason Ferguson isn't getting any younger. Dorsey would fit in beautifully with Wade Phillip's attacking defense.

So with this Mock that means he has the AFC 5 best teams with records better than the #1 NFC team and he has Arizona making the Playoffs since their are only 5 NFC teams picking above them........Miami, Buffalo and KC picking top 5, I wouldn't take that bet on 25-1 odds...............

Sorry but this would never happen. To trade up to #1 would take more than a 3rd rounder it might take a current second and future second. Also trading Eliis might get tus a 5th rounder, no way to get back in the first round. And there is no chance of signing Julius to a bonus-less contract, then immediately trading him. Flozell compensetory, I'm not so sure if that is true I think they have to be after their initial contract and not being signed twice (also being drafted by the team as we did with Flozell) in order to receive a compensetory pick.
It all depend on how well Flo plays on another team and if we sign another FA with equal talent.... Say we lose Flo but sign Faneca as a FA, we would probably get nothing for compensetory pick. but if we lose FLo and sign no one we might get a 3rd, but probably a 4th, depends on how well Flo plays...

Personally I think the mock drafts this early on are a waste of time. After the 2005 season everyone was saying how Brady Quinn would be the 1st player taken or at least the 1st QB taken when he would enter the draft. After the 2006 season was over that all changed and Quinn dropped like a rock. This will be the same, some of these guys will drop like rocks in the draft and some others will jump up. I think the most that can be said about these mock drafts is it shows you which guys in the college ranks to keep your eye on this coming season.
