Just a comment of Pittsburgh's draft. As good as Mendenhall may be looking, the NFL channel just said Limas Sweed has been the talk of the camp. Sweed may START for Pittsburgh in 3wr groups.

Sweed is a very very good WR. He is alot like Roy Williams.

I still think Stewart is going to have an outstanding career. rumors were most of our pre-draft talk was Stewart vs. Jones - with Stewart coming out ahead (either we did not expect Rashard to be there or we didn't like his game)

He threw a fit when we drafted Felix over Mendenhall, so he can't come off of that stance before even 1 preseason game has been played.

Frankly, he couldn't say anything else but what he did and still look at himself in the mirror.

If a running back doesn't look good running against defenses that can't tackle him, there must be a serious problem.

Don't get me wrong -- love the buzz coming out of camp about Felix. But RBs, especially the fast ones, typically look good in camp. Tyson Thompson certainly did. We'll know more in the preseason.

Thompson was never capable of doing the kinds of things they are talking about Felix Jones doing, and never did...he ran fast in a straight line, Jones is doing alot more than that

Most of the positive reviews coming out of camp about running backs are describing their ability to catch out of the backfield, pick up blitzes, run routes, etc.

So far, so good.

Dallas likes what they see of Felix so far.

Steelers are liking Rashard Mendenhall, saying this guy is a real speciman. Parker is still the man though. They're calling him the man of steel...how original.

Carolina is digging Jonathan Stewart and are very impressed with his inside (and goal line) run game.

The Titans are being amazed by Chris Johnson's jaw dropping talent every day--saying he is far more than just a receiving RB.

I haven't heard much from Oakland on Mcfadden but assume he will do very well..or even great.

Baltimore is also liking Ray Rice a lot...no surprises there from a lot on this board. I think he was a favorite of theogt and others.

Even J Charles is holding his own in KC.

Torian is looking very good in Denver too.

It is interesting how opinions vary on some of these guys. It will be fun to look back in three years....

I believe that Stewart may be the best in the group. I hope that all of us are surprised by how good Felix Jones and Tashard Choice turn out to be....time will tell.

This was the best RB class I have ever scene. I think Charles will be good and Rice. If Dmac can get out of oakland maybe he can be a star. He seemed a little bit of a straight line runner to me.

the class of 1990 was impressive.....I think there were 8 of them that rushed for 1000+ at least once in their career...........and of course the best ever came out of that class

reasons....
FJ - is in the perfect system for him.
RM- from what I have heard is mentally weak. (read big baby)
Dmac - I have said this since we got Clevelands 1st rounder there is something about him that has bust written all over him but I just can't put my finger on it.
JC -solid but I don't see anything special
RR - he has the heart needed to be great
Stewart- has no lateral movement will just get hammered by defenses
TC - just not enough there to be better than good

now my hunches are as good as yours but that is the way I see it panning out

Alright, I can go down the list and tell you what I disagree with.
* Felix: Great in the right system. Very bad in the wrong system
* Rashard: I have no faith in people that show for one year right before the draft or just have a great combine.
* DMac: Could be great, has the tools to be great, I see more of a bust label for him. Not because he will be bad but because he won't equal his expectations.
* Chris Johnson: I am glad we took Felix over him.
* Jamaal Charles: Should be good. I am not too sure about him.
* Ray Rice: Living in Baltimore, this is the only thing they are talking about. This kid is on fire down here. And that is saying something considering they lose a different Lineman every other day.
* Stewart: I see this guy becominf a complete back and putting it all together. I just like what I see / hear from him.
Choice: Can we really put in a 4th rd pick with these others? Choice will be a very capable third but I don't know if he can crack the MB3 Player / Cat backfield
