hostile, i still dont know about the cowboys getting beck and trading one of our picks, but i am thinking this;
parcells is well known for getting players from the previous teams he has been on, he already has about 5 dallas cowboy players on the dolphins now, and he just signed polite today i think
i think instead of a draft pick for beck, you might see the cowboys trade carpenter to the dolphins,
maybe or maybe not, it all depends on whom is defensive coordinator next year, because to me, this is wade phillips last year, and he knows it, and stewart will probably go with wade wherever he goes.
Now if i was jerry, I would do 2 things, and maybe you can answer this Hostille or Adam. Say, wade is let go, but best i remember the cowboys have him under contract for 3 years, next year would be his 3rd year. Even though jerry jones say he fired wade after the year is over, or say wade still wants to coach, preferbably a head coach
wade has proved, wherever he goes; he can turn a team around the first year, the 2nd year he flounders some.
so, say jerry fires wade, but has him still under contract for next year, then Wade cant coach a team till 2010 right? Say some team would be willing to have him coach their team, then wouldnt the cowboys get a high draft pick for wade?
Plus, parcells loves cowboys players and basically bobby carpenter is a 4-3 linebacker. But as you know, parcells wanted carpenter this year in the draft, but cowboys wouldnt let him go, how high a draft pick do you think the cowboys could get for carpenter, or do you see a straight up swap for Beck and carpenter.
Next, how about sending Hurd or austin, whomever but a wr, maybe proctor, or mcquistan since parcells and sparano loved mcquistain, and maybe tony curtis to the dolphins, what draft picks do you think the cowboys could get for those players?
Yes, i do see jerry jones packagaing picks to get quality players, and if some of these players like carpenter, hurd or austin, mcquistan, tony curtis, proctor, are involved in packages trades to get a high pick from miami, for possibly jerry jones to move up in the draft,
also, with one of the picks, jerry jones is going to use one of those picks, to recoup the 5th round draft choice the cowboys lost to denver for the holland trade, so thats one pick gone right there.
