Between Rice and Irvin, I'd say Rice was the better WR and Irvin the better football player.

As far as best all-time WR, a case could be made for Don Hutson but most would say Rice.

In an all time draft I'd take Irvin over Rice 2x on tuesday-friday, 5x on sunday and 100x on a primetime Monday game.

I'll explain why.

During the 49ers peak, they threw 536 passes per season, during the Cowboys they threw 482. The difference in stats is not that much that if the Cowboys were throwing the same passes, Irvin would've surpassed Rice.
